The outdoor Christmas decorations of several Kendall Park homes were destroyed or stolen during several incidents late last week.
According to police, the first incident occurred at around 4:05 a.m. Friday when a Lehigh Drive resident saw three men getting out of a 2005 or 2006 Dodge SRT-4 sports car and knock over Christmas decorations on his neighbors’ lawns.
He said his own holiday decorations already had been knocked over when he got home from work at 4 a.m., police said.
The next incident occurred Friday on Kendall Road when someone stole a light-up wire reindeer valued at $30 from the front lawn of a Kendall Road home between 8 a.m. and 5:35 p.m.
The next two incidents occurred Saturday between midnight and 4:30 a.m. on Kendall Road, where someone stole a toy soldier valued at $100 from one home, and punctured holes in two fan powered blow-up decorations, with a combined value of $220, that were on the front lawn of another home.
Police said they do not know if the incidents are related because they occurred on different dates, but are looking into that possibility.
