Agents at Prudential Fox & Roach roll up sleeves for community service day

On October 5, volunteers from Prudential Fox & Roach rolled up their sleeves to help sort food and restock the shelves at the Crisis Ministry in Princeton.

Real estate agents at the Princeton office of Prudential Fox & Roach, Realtors volunteered at the Crisis Ministry Services on October 5 during the company’s Annual Community Service Day. Volunteers sorted food and restocked the ministry’s food bank. Agents also volunteered at Project Freedom and Home Front’s Family Preservation Center, where they joined agents from Prudential’s Hamilton office.
Each fall, Prudential Fox & Roach closes its doors for the community-wide day of service. All sales associates and employees take a break to help the less-fortunate members of the community. This year, volunteers from Prudential’s 64 offices lent a hand in more than 100 communities. "We are proud to be able to orchestrate this day in keeping with our mission to address the needs of children and families in stressful life circumstances, especially their housing" says Avie Wheeler, director of Fox & Roach Charities, a non-profit program benefiting the communities surrounding Prudential’s sales offices.
Mr. Wheeler’s team organizes specific community-service projects and the company’s contributions of time, effort and finances. Fox & Roach Charities receives many funds from voluntary contributions derived from every real estate transaction. "Working hand-in-hand with our communities is part of our company’s history. This is our way of giving back to those communities that support us," Mr. Wheeler says.
