As chairwomen of the South River Adopt-A-Family program, we would like to say thank you to all those who helped make a difference this year for the less-fortunate families of our community.
This year, with the generosity of others to help us, we were able to provide a more joyous holiday for 21 families with a total of 79 children. We have several local businesses and families who every year, no matter what, come out to help, as well as volunteers whose support we could not do without. We must also say a special thank you to the South River High School National Honor Society members for their help with our Breakfast With Santa.
For the first time, we are continuing our efforts throughout the year for those less fortunate, and we can only hope that we are successful with our new venture.
