Arinthia ‘Bell’ Owens
HIGHTSTOWN Arinthia "Bell" Bagley Owens, 104, died Jan. 24 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Millhurst, she was one of 15 children born to Charles and Agnes Moody.
She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Monroe.
Predeceased by her parents and two sons, she is survived by son William Moody of Trenton; daughter Delores Muse of Hightstown; a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.
Services were held at the A.S. Cole Funeral Home, Cranbury.
Interment was at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hightstown.
Marie R. Hepp
ARDSLEY, Pa. Marie R. Hepp, 90, died Jan. 26 at her home.
The last of seven children of William and Mary Reilly Keys of Philadelphia, she graduated from Hallahan Catholic, Class of 1934, and worked for the phone company until she married Joseph C. Hepp in 1938. They were together for more than 67 years until Mr. Hepp died in April of 2006.
She is survived by six children, Joseph L. (Jeanne) Hepp of East Windsor, Robert W. (Lucy) Hepp of Malvern, Pa., Gerry Grau-Berg (Joe) of Marlton, Donald A. Hepp of Blue Bell, Pa., Mary Beth Hepp of Ardsley, Pa., and Judith A. Cameron (Bob) of Philadelphia.; nine grandchildren, Gina Ancalmo (Javier) of Germantown, Md., Joseph L. Hepp Jr. (Liesl) of Arlington, Va., Karen Hepp Sullivan (Brian) of New York and Wynnewood, Pa., Jocelyn Kotary (Edmond) of Port Matilda, Pa., Elizabeth Hepp of Philadelphia, Robert Grau (Debbie) of Cherry Hill, Kimberly Grau of Marlton, David Rambo of Philadelphia, and Rob Hepp of Malvern, Pa; and eight great-grandchildren, Nicolas, Juliana, and Natalie Ancalmo, Flora, Joseph "Luke" and Eleanor Hepp and Hope and Paige Kotary.
A Funeral Mass was held at Queen of Peace Church, Ardsley, Pa.
Interment was in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Arrangements were by William R. May Funeral Home, Glenside/North Wales, Pa.
Wilfred ‘Bill’ Worringer
EWING Wilfred J. "Bill" Worringer, 87, who was currently residing with both of his daughters and their families, died Saturday.
Born in Waunakee, Wis., Mr. Worringer was employed with Madison Kipp and then enlisted to serve in the Navy during World War II. He attended bomb disposal school in Washington, D.C. and was stationed in the Philippines where he received two Bronze Stars for valor.
He and his wife moved in 1951 to Mercerville, where he was employed with Circle F Industries as a vice president of manufacturing and later retired from Eagle Manufacturing Company as a superintendent. Mr. Worringer attended Rider College and studied business administration. He was an avid gardener and loved canning.
Predeceased by parents Henry and Catherine (Diedrich) Worringer, his wife of 58 years Dorothy "Mac" Worringer and his eight older sisters and brothers, he is survived by two daughters, Wendy Worringer and her husband, Frank, Marchetti of Hopewell Township and Cathy Reilly of Ewing Township; two sons, Steven Worringer and his wife, Jennifer, of East Windsor and Michael Worringer and his wife, Suzanne, of Millstone; grandchildren John and Kevin Reilly, Jennifer and Steven Worringer and Chelsea Marchetti; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service and cremation were private.
Arrangements are under the direction of Saul Colonial Home, Hamilton Square.
Henry Szymczak
EASTHAMPTON Henry Szymczak, 71, formerly of Hightstown, died Monday in Virtua Memorial Hospital-Burlington County.
Born in Trenton, he was a longtime Hightstown area resident.
He was employed with the federal government as an inspector at RCA in Hightstown. Mr. Szymczak was an Air Force veteran of 12 years. He was a member of the Air Force National Guard for 15 years. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church and a former CCD teacher for the church. He was a former Boy Scout headmaster and a member of the Applegarth Volunteer Fire Co.
A funeral will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home, 136 Morrison Ave., Hightstown. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 251 Franklin St., Hightstown, NJ 08520.
Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
Family and friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Martha N. Szymczak; he is survived by daughter and son-in-law Michalina Ann and Kenneth E. Jacobs; three sons, Henry Allen, Frank Vito and his wife, Leslie Ann, and Bernardo John Szymczak; sisters Helen Sitko, Edna Mack, Pat Jackson and Ann Wilno; brother Frank Szymczak; 10 grandchildren, Christopher Allen, Eric Michael, Jeffrey Paul, Bernie John, Joseph Michael, Debra Joyce and Michael Glenn Szymczak, Kenneth William, Haley Ann and Samantha Marie Jacobs; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
