Life Line Screening Radiology will be at the Colts Neck Baptist Church, 25 Merchants Way, Colts Neck, offering screening for area residents to reduce their risk of having a stroke.

Screenings involve the use of ultrasound technology, and scan for potential health problems including blocked arteries, aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs. Men and women can also have a bone-density screening to assess their risk for osteoporosis.

The Goddard School in the Morgan-ville section of Marlboro recently celebrated its second birthday, complete with cake and decorations, a clown, music and treats for all. There were 150 children and 35 staff members at the celebration.

The school, which opened Jan. 24, 2005, is owned and operated by Carol Vargo, a 20-year resident of Marlboro. The school accommodates 150 children, ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.
