PLAINSBORO Have you ever wondered if your child’s car seat is installed properly? If so, the Plainsboro Police Department may have the answer. In recognition of Child Passenger Safety Week which runs through Saturday the Plainsboro Police Department will conduct child car seat inspections for interested residents.
According to a recent study, only 10 to 20 percent of children ages 4 through 7 who should be using car seats actually are, and of those who are restrained, very few have seats meant for their sizes and ages.
Inspections will take place in the police headquarters on Plainsboro Road and must be scheduled in advance. For an appointment, call Michael Kelly at 799-2333, ext. 681.
