Richard Carducci

   BORDENTOWN — Richard "Rick" Carducci, 57, died Friday, Feb. 9, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton.
   Born in Doylestown, Pa., Mr. Carducci was raised in Lambertville and lived in Pennington and Ewing before moving to Bordentown.
   He was a graduate of South Hunterdon.
   Mr. Carducci was a member of the Lawrenceville American Legion Post 414.
   He worked at Princeton University as a painter for 32 years.
   He was the son of the late Patrick J. Carducci.
   Surviving are his mother, Ann Thumann Carducci; two sons, Vincent and Anthony Carducci; one sister, Patricia Carducci Konstant of Ewing; three brothers and a sister-in-law, James, and his twin, Robert, both of Ewing, and Thomas and Suzanne Carducci of Pennington; and a niece, Rachel Carducci.
   The funeral was held Tuesday from the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. John the Evangelist Roman Church, Lambertville. Burial followed in Harbourton Cemetery.

William Stout III

   STOCKTON — William Stout III, 57, of Stockton died Thursday, Feb. 8, at home.
   Born in Trenton, Mr. Stout lived most of his life in Stockton.
   He was a salesperson with Uneeda Appliances in Somerville and earlier worked for Prince Range Appliances in Flemington.
   He served in the Navy from 1968 to 1972 and with the Marines from 1972 to 1975.
   He was a member of the Flemington American Legion.
   In 1968, he graduated from Hunterdon Central High School.
   Surviving are his parents, William Stout Jr. and Kathryn Prutzman Stout of Stockton; his fiancé, Denise Apsley of Branchburg; three daughters, Tabitha Kosmas and Taryn Cheer of Pace, Fla., and Jenny Stout of Easton, Pa.; a son, William Stout IV of Blairstown, N.J.; six grandchildren; his brother, Dennis Stout; and aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
   Funeral services were held Monday at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville.

Millicent Whitney

   NEWTOWN, Pa. — Millicent Aylsworth Whitney, 89, of Newtown, Pa., died Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Hospice at Chandler Hall in Newtown.
   Born in Montclair, N.J., and raised in Detroit, Mrs. Whitney was a graduate of the Liggett School in Detroit and Wheaton College in Norton, Mass.
   She considered Essex, Conn., as her home, but earlier lived in Middleton, Wis.; Bromont, Quebec, Canada; and Burlington, Ontario, Canada.
   She and her husband, William Starkey Whitney, moved to Bucks County three years ago.
   Mrs. Whitney was involved in community activities that centered on children and young people.
   She was a member and past president of the Essex PTA; volunteered at the Head Start Program in Madison, Wis., and worked with the Women’s Exchange at the Old Lyme Art Academy in Old Lyme, Conn.
   She also was active with the Essex Yacht Club and the Junior League in Detroit.
   As a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Essex, Mrs. Whitney served on the Altar Guild.
   She is survived by her husband of 62 years William Starkey Whitney; three sons, Larned Starkey Whitney III of Benecia, Calif., Robert Aylsworth Whitney of New Hope, and Timothy Tobin Whitney of Flagstaff, Ariz.; a daughter, Anne Whitney Yarnall of New Hope; six grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Doty Aylsworth of Phoenix, Ariz.
   Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 31, at 3 p.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Main Street, Essex, Conn.
   Arrangements were under the direction of the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, Lambertville.
Suzanne Musselman

   M. Suzanne Musselman, 64, died Sunday, Feb. 4, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   Born in Lambertville, she was a resident of Blawenburg, N.J., prior to moving to Lawrenceville five years ago.
   She graduated from Ursinus University with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics. She received her master’s degree from the University of California at Berkley.
   She was employed as a math teacher by the Ewing Public School System, retiring nine years ago as the district math supervisor.
   Ms. Musselman was a member of several organizations, including the New Jersey Education Association and the New Jersey Principals and Supervisors Association.
   She also was a member of the board of directors, then president of the Mercer County Teachers Federal Credit Union.
   Ms. Musselman was a member of the Lawrenceville Mainstreet Group and a library assistant at Lawrenceville Prep School.
   She was the daughter of the late Reuben and Mary Musselman.
   Surviving are her sister and brother-in-law, Esther and James Cavanaugh of Devon, Pa.; a niece, Elizabeth Cavanaugh-Kerr of Devon; and a nephew, Michael Patrick Cavanaugh of Plymouth, Mass.
   Funeral services were held Feb. 8 at Cromwell-Immordino Memorial Home, Hopewell, with the Rev. Dennis O’Neill officiating. Burial followed in Harbourton Cemetery.
