Mrs. Roed, 82, of East Brunswick, died Feb. 18, 2007, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She and her late husband owned and operated Colonial Pitcher, East Brunswick. Her husband, Edward C. Roed, died in 2002, and a son, Douglas Roed, died in 2005. Surviving are a son, Steven, and his wife, Karen, of East Brunswick; a daughter, Janice of Edison; a brother, Roy Solvang of Massapequa Park, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Nativity Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick.
