Frank J. Sabatino
BORDENTOWN TOWNSHIP Frank J. Sabatino Sr., 69, died Sunday at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born and raised in Trenton, he was currently residing in Bordentown Township.
Mr. Sabatino was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School and was employed as a bartender, craftsman and demonstrator throughout his career. He loved sports and trips to Atlantic City.
Son of the late Clara De Risi and Nick Sabatino, he was also predeceased by his stepfather Robert A. Kerwick, his sister Tina Degli Umberti, brothers William J. Kerwick and Robert M. Kerwick, and stepgrandson James Whitehouse Jr. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary (Palmieri) Sabatino; his stepdaughter Linda Whitehouse and her husband Jim Whitehouse; sisters Arlene Scozzaro, Elizabeth Rockhill and her husband Gerald, and Patricia Mc Mahon; a brother, Michael Kerwick and his wife Rosemarie; his four children, Frank Jr., Chris, George, and Lisa; 10 grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and one uncle, Dewey De Martino.
Cremation was held privately.
A celebration of his life will be held 5 p.m. Friday at the Rockhill Home, 1852 Orchard Ave., Hamilton Township.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care and coordination of the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home, South Trenton.
Jean Phillips
CHESTERFIELD Jean Phillips, 88, died Sunday afternoon after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Born Jan. 24, 1919, he was the only son of Elmer and Jessie Kincaid-Phillips and brother to Dorothy and Rosemary. He grew up in Olney, Ill. He and his sisters attended the local one-room schoolhouse where his parents were the teachers.
Mr. Phillips raised Merino sheep and turned bicycles into motorcycles. He graduated from Olney High School. He honorably served in the U.S. Army Air Corps attaining the rank of warrant officer during World War II.
Toward the end of the war, he met his future wife, Helen Doris Wood. On May 3 they would have celebrated 60 years of marriage. Together they raised two daughters and buried two sons.
Mr. Phillips was a respected car mechanic, operating "Jean Phillips Auto Repairs" in Columbus for many years. He liked to grow peanuts and was gifted at woodworking. He made lots of toys and little rocking chairs for all the children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Doris; his daughter, Patty; his Daughter, Janet and her husband Carl Mathews; his grandchildren, Philip and Amy; and his "adopted" favorite family, the Schaefers.

Services begin Thursday evening with viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. today, Thursday, at Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Huber-Moore followed by interment at Colonial Memorial Park, South Broad Street, Trenton.
Vernon D. Grennen
SOUTH BRUNSWICK Vernon D. Grennen, 77, died Saturday in St. Peter’s Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in New Brunswick, he resided in New Brunswick and Milltown before moving to Monmouth Junction.
Mr. Grennen was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW and past commander of American Legion Post 401. Vernon was retired as a heavy equipment operator from Jo-Ed Excavating, New Brunswick.
Son of the late James and Jenny Allen Grennen, brother of the late James, John, George, Edward, Ray, Hazel Grennen and Ethel Longcoy, he is survived by his wife of 51 years, Dorothy Wheeler Grennen; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Sandra Grennen, Michael and Gina Grennen and Steven Grennen, all of Monmouth Junction; five daughters and three sons-in-law, Diana Grennen of Highland Park, Debra and Michael George of Winter Haven, Fla., Colleen and Fred Powers of Roosevelt, Lisa and Frank Dorigo of Hamilton, Kathleen Grennen of Monmouth Junction; a sister, Mary Magretto of Jamesburg; 10 grandchildren and their spouses, John and Christine DeHart of Jackson, Kelly and Bryan Cranston of East Brunswick, Brendan and Caitlin Powers of Roosevelt, Ryan and Kyle Grennen of Monmouth Junction, Kevin and Tim George of Brick, Thomas Powers of Bordentown, Ian Powers of Pittsburgh, PA; and one great-granddaughter, Kamryn DeHart of Jackson.
A memorial visitation was held Tuesday at the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 Ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction.
The memorial service was held Tuesday with the Rev. John H. Maltby officiating.

William E. Flock Jr.
CAPE CORAL, Fla. – William E. Flock Jr., 83, died Friday in the Hospice House North, Cape Coral, Fla.
Born and raised in Allentown, he was a resident of West Windsor, the Cairo/Moberly, Mo. area and a part-time resident of Cape Coral, Fla.
He was a farmer in West Windsor and Cairo, Mo. He was involved in the New Jersey and Missouri Farm Bureaus and was former president of the New Jersey Tomato Growers Association.
He was a former member, deacon and president of the Board of Trustees at Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church in Princeton Junction. He was a member of and served the Cairo/Jacksonville Christian Church in Missouri. He was an avid bowler, softball champion/MVP and won several championship Senior Citizen World Series softball tournaments throughout the United States.
Son of the late W. Earl Sr. and Mollie Flock and brother of the late Carolyn West Duryea, he is survived by his wife, Ruth Mather Flock; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Barbara and Donald Benedetti of Chesterfield, Mollie and Bruce Foster of Davenport, Iowa, Patricia Jane Flock and partner Sheila Mielcarek of Phoenix, Ariz.; three sons and one daughter-in-law, William III "Skip" and Kathy Flock of Cairo, Mo., Richard Mather Flock of Trenton, and Harry Herbert Flock of Moberly, Mo.; a sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Jane and Frank Jones of Bridgewater; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Dutch Neck Presbyterian Church, 154 S. Mill Road, Princeton Junction, followed by funeral services at 3 p.m.
The Rev. Floyd W. Churn will officiate.
Burial will follow the service in the Dutch Neck Cemetery.
A memorial service is pending at the Cairo Christian Church in Cairo, Mo.

Angela Marie D’Abrosca Toth
HAMILTON Angela Marie D’Abrosca Toth, 88, died Feb. 14 at her home in Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. She resided on Centre Street for 53 years with her husband Stephen Toth.
Mrs. Toth was a member of the Church of the Sacred Heart. Formerly a seamstress, she loved sewing, ironing, cooking, and puppy-sitting for her family. She enjoyed traveling to Florida, New Hampshire, Washington, and frequent trips in Pennsylvania and New Jersey with her children and grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Pasquale and Lucy Carnevale D’Abrosca, wife of the late Stephen Toth, sister of the late Thomas and William D’Abrosca, she is survived by a daughter, Patricia Wincek of Yardville and her friend Donald Walker; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Stephen and Elizabeth Toth of Ringoes, Richard Toth of Bordentown and Jerome and Nancy Toth of Exton, Pa.; a sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Patrick DeMarco of Roselle Park; two granddaughters, Meridith Toth and fiancé Joe Lorbeck and Allyn and her husband Drake Deming; adored niece Donna Matthews; nephews William and Leonard D’Abrosca, Robert and Patrick DeMarco; and grandnieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Saturday from the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville-Allentown Road in Yardville.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in the Church of the Sacred Heart, 343 S. Broad St. in Trenton.
Entombment followed in Our Lady of Lourdes, Garden of Peace Mausoleum.

Robert W. Lipsett Sr.
SOUTHAMPTON Robert W. "Bobby Lyons" Lipsett Sr., 58, died Feb. 14 at home.
Mr. Lipsett was born in Philadelphia, Pa. and resided in Hamilton Township and Columbus before moving to Southampton two years ago. He was the proprietor of the Corner Deli in Roebling for over 12 years and the Corner Deli of Bordentown for two years.
Mr. Lipsett was formerly employed by Wonder Bread-Hostess as a route driver, supervisor and branch manager for many years. He performed as Phantom in "Phantom of the Opera" at Trenton’s War Memorial Patriot’s Theater, also performing with many local accompanists. He was an avid golfer and was very active and generous in the local community.
Mr. Lipsett was a member of Church of the Holy Eucharist, Tabernacle, Child Placement Review Board – Division of Youth and Family Services and City Lights. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Son of the late Robert Kriegner, he is survived by his wife, Anne T. Kanda Lipsett; mother, Elizabeth Kriegner; son and fiancée, Robert W. Lipsett Jr. and Alesha Papp; son, Thomas C. Lipsett; son and daughter-in-law, William D. and Paulette Lipsett; son, Christopher J. Lipsett; sons Sean M. and Jason P. Russell; nine grandchildren, Mirranda, Alexis, Kayla, Samantha, Marissa, Antonio, Melina, Isabella and Laura Ann; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rose and Ron Sova, Frances and Thomas Mulryne, Maria and Tracy Borgognoni, Patrick and Ann Kanda, Lisa Kanda, Rita and Jeff Leary; mother-in-law Violet Kanda; father-in-law, Anthony Kanda; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Mass was held Saturday at Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Road, Tabernacle.
Burial was private at the convenience of the family.

Michael Wojciehowski
MOUNT HOLLY Michael Wojciehowski, 55, of North Hanover Township, died Feb. 13 at Samaritan Hospice, Mount Holly, after battling sarcoma cancer since 2005.
Mr. Wojciehowski grew up in Somerville and lived in Trenton, Florence, Marlton, Southampton, Medford Lakes and Long Beach Island before moving to North Hanover Township two years ago. He was a Certified Public Accountant who worked as an independent consultant primarily for healthcare providers.
Son of the late Stanley and Irene Wojciehowski, he is survived by his wife, Lorraine, and his daughter and her husband, Alycia and Mike Busa of Pemberton; siblings and their families, Kathleen Foley of Somerville, Stephen Wojciehowski of Cedar Run and Claire Ann Rosak of Toms River; mother-in-law, Eleanor Majcher; and brother-in-law, Martin J. Majcher III of Egg Harbor Township.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday at St. John’s Church, 1282 Yardville Rd., Allentown, with the Rev. Patrick Castles officiating.
Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Trenton.
