Nancy Anastazia Mamrosh Peake

Mrs. Peake, 71, of the Whiting section of Manchester, formerly of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Feb. 14, 2007, in Kensington Manor, Toms River section of Dover. Surviving are her husband, Harry Peake; two sons, Harry, and his wife, Colleen, of Greentown, Pa., and Thomas, and his wife, Sharon, of Millstone; a brother, John Mamrosh of Jersey City; and two granddaughters. Services were held at Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin. Entombment was in Cloverleaf Memorial Park, Woodbridge. Gary Strack

Gary R. Strack, 54, of Millstone, died Feb. 14, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Hackensack, he had lived in Oakland and Marlboro before moving to Millstone 12 years ago. He was a certified public accountant (C.P.A.) and vice president of Finance for Strategic Products and Services. He was predeceased by his son, Jason Gerard Strack, in 1998. Surviving are his wife, Catherine Strack of Millstone; two daughters, Pamela and Justine Strack, at home; a brother and sister-in-law, David and Diane Strack of Oakland; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gerard and Marion Milillo of Columbus. Services were held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. A funeral Mass was offered at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Millstone Township, followed by interment in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery, Marlboro. Memorial contributions may be made to either the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75231, or the American Cancer Society, 801 Broad St., Shrewsbury 07702.

Harold Melvin Jr.

Harold J. Melvin Jr., 74, of Howell, died Feb. 15, 2007, at home. Born in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived in Roosevelt before moving to Howell in 1961. He was a cabinet maker, and along with his father, he had owned M&M Woodcraft, Roosevelt, until his retirement in 2001. Surviving are his wife, Gail M. Melvin of Howell; two daughters, Cynthia Flora of Freehold and Susan McKelvey of Howell; a brother, George Melvin of Poughkeepsie; two sisters, Mary Burch of Trenton and Eileen Hicks of Florida; and two grandchildren. Services were held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment in East Windsor Cemetery, East Windsor.
