Evelyn Solvang Roed

Mrs. Roed, 82, of East Brunswick, died Feb. 18, 2007, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. She and her late husband owned and operated Colonial Pitcher, East Brunswick. Her husband, Edward C. Roed, died in 2002, and a son, Douglas Roed, died in 2005. Surviving are a son, Steven, and his wife, Karen, of East Brunswick; a daughter, Janice of Edison; a brother, Roy Solvang of Massapequa Park, N.Y.; and two grandchildren. Services were held at Nativity Lutheran Church, East Brunswick. Entombment was in Franklin Memorial Park, North Brunswick. Raymond T. Deecken

Mr. Deecken, 67, of Old Bridge, died Feb. 13, 2007, in Saint Peter’s University Hospital, New Brunswick. Surviving are his wife, Kathleen Willman Deecken; two sons, Raymond Deecken, and his wife, Bethany, of Sayreville, and Brian Deecken of Asbury Park; a daughter, Justine Rowe, and her husband, Richard, of Metuchen; a sister, Claire Kohler of Worcester, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. A Mass was offered at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin section of Old Bridge. Interment was in Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Shirley Krentzman

Mrs. Krentzman, 79, of Freehold, died Feb. 15, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she had lived in Woodbridge before moving to Howell in 1987. Mrs. Krentzman was a colorist in the garment industry and had worked in a fabric store in New Brunswick. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clifford Krentzman of Freehold; two sons, Stewart Krentzman of River Vale and Eric Krentzman of Freehold; a sister, Betty Grossman of Queens, N.Y.; and five grandchildren. A graveside service was held at Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown. Ann M. Georgianna Zeno

Mrs. Zeno, 83, of North Brunswick, died Feb. 2, 2007, at home. Born in North Brunswick, she resided in Edison for 50 years, prior to relocating to North Brunswick 10 years ago. She was a retired production worker at E.R. Squibb and Sons, New Brunswick, where she was employed 15 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin Roman Catholic Church, New Brunswick. She was predeceased by her husband, Angelo Zeno in 1989; and a daughter, Maryann Zeno in 1969. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Bockman of Edison, Patricia Garland of North Brunswick, and Donna Prongay of Phoenix; a son, Anthony Zeno of Hightstown; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. Mary’s Church. Burial was at St. Peter’s Cemetery, New Brunswick. Arrangements were by Selover Funeral Home, North Brunswick.
