Princeton Recreation Department to hold public workshop

The Princeton Recreation Department will host a public workshop 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday to gauge if residents are satisfied with its recreation program and what they would like to see in the future.
Kentucky-based consulting firm Brandstetter Carroll Inc., which has been charged with drafting an update to the department’s master plan, will conduct the workshop — the first of several scheduled this year.
The information gleaned from the public will be included in the master plan, which has not been updated since 1989, Recreation Department Executive Director Jack Roberts said. The master plan will determine the department’s focus for the next decade.
The meeting will be held at Township Hall.
If unable to attend, persons may drop off written material at the department’s offices at 380 Witherspoon St.
