Louise Fisher

   DELAWARE — Louise E. Fisher, 91, of Delaware Township, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township.
   Born in Lambertville, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Mary Malie Muscatell.
   She formerly resided in Franklin Township in Hunterdon County.
   She formerly was a chef at Beaver Brook Country Club in Clinton; St. John Terrell’s Music Circus in West Amwell; Ringoes Steak House; Landmark Inn in Clinton; Perryville Inn; and the Clinton Deli.
   She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Pattenburg.
   She was the widow of Raymond H. Fisher, who died in 1987, and mother of the late Andrew Simon and Elizabeth Aveta.
   Surviving are two sons, Raymond L. Fisher of Delaware Township and Frank Simon Jr. of Varnville, S.C.; two stepdaughters, Barbara Kopels of Cupertino, Calif., and Arlene McPherson of Hillsborough Township, N.J.; a brother, "Pudgie" Muscatell of Lambertville; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Saturday at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington. Burial was in Cherryville (N.J.) Cemetery.

John Zengel

   DELAWARE — John J. Zengel, 88, of Delaware Township died Friday, March 2, at home.
   Born in Secaucus, he worked with his family on the William Zengel Pig Farm for many years prior to moving to Delaware Township in 1951.
   He ran Zengel’s Dairy Farm in Delaware Township while working at Johns Manville in Manville from 1951 to 1981.
   He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Lambertville.
   He was the son of the late William and Anna Schwerer Zengel, widower of Margaret Reynolds Zengel and father of the late Frank Zengel.
   Surviving are six daughters and five sons-in-law, Margaret and Robert Fasanello of Glen Gardner, Joy and Al Mina of Stockton, Linda and Frank Yasunas of Sergeantsville, Anna and John Gromlowicz of Stockton, Marie Zengel and her partner, Maggie Devine, of Frenchtown and Rachel and Michael Nichols of Phillipsburg; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Sandy Zengel of Phillipsburg, Donald and Joy Zengel of Hollidaysburg, Pa., and Thomas and Ellen Zengel of High Bridge; one daughter-in-law, Linda Zengel of Rosemont; one sister, Loretta Botteri of Palm Harbor, Fla.; 27 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at the church. Burial followed in Rosemont Cemetery.
   Memorial donations may be made to any charity.

Wayne Golden

   DRESHER, Pa. — Wayne B. Golden, 60, of Hatboro, Pa., died Friday, March 2, at Dresher Hill Nursing Home.
   Born in Trenton, he had been a resident of Pennsylvania for 20 years.
   He spent his youth in Hopewell Township and Stockton and attended Hunterdon Central High School.
   He was the son of the late Bradford Golden and widower of Michelle F. Golden.
   Surviving are his mother, Betty D. Golden of Flemington; a son and daughter-in-law, Ross and Stacey Golden of Horsham, Pa.; a grandson, Justin of Horsham; a daughter, Holly Ann Golden of Hatboro, Pa.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Kenneth Johnson of Erwinna, Pa., and Kathleen and Daniel Reed of Flemington; two nieces; and a nephew.
   Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Blackwell Memorial Home, Pennington, with the Rev. Greg Faulkner officiating. Interment followed in Pennington Cemetery.
Clara Donahue

   TULLYTOWN — Clara Johnson Donahue, 86, died Friday, March 2, at Crestview Nursing Home in Middletown Township.
   Born and raised in Hopewell, Mrs. Donahue formerly resided in Lambertville before moving to Tullytown 31 years ago.
   Mrs. Donahue was the widow of George M. Donahue Sr.
   Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Carrie Ann and Jesse Hewitt of Barnegat and Joan Lee Wiley of Yardley, Pa.; a son, George M. Donahue Jr. of Tullytown; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Abbie Dunlap of Doylestown; and many nieces and nephews.
   She was preceded in death by her brother, Elmer Johnson.
   A graveside service was held Tuesday at Highland Cemetery in Hopewell.

Elizabeth Caracciolo

   LAMBERTVILLE — Elizabeth L. Caracciolo, 92, of Lambertville died Tuesday, Feb. 27, at the Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township.
   Born in Brooklyn, she lived in Queens, N.Y., and Hialeah, Fla., before coming to Lambertville five years ago.
   She was a medical secretary for many years at Brooklyn Hospital and worked for doctors in private practice while living in Florida.
   She was the widow of Bruno Alexander "Al" Caracciolo, daughter of the late Sebastiano and Catherine Rizzo Briolotta and sister of the late Joseph, John, Thomas and Sebastiano Briolotta.
   Surviving are her son, Vincent Caracciolo and her daughter, Katherine Carr of Lambertville; her sisters, Mary Esposito of Selden, Long Island, and Jennie Manfredi of Houston, Texas; and her sisters-in-law, Pearl Briolotta of Brooklyn and Rose Devers of Colorado.
   A Mass of Christian burial was offered Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Church in Lambertville. Burial was at Holcombe-Riverview Cemetery in Delaware Township.

Dr. Devon Yazujian

   NEW HOPE — Dr. Levon "Lee" Dikran Yazujian, 87, died Saturday, March 3.
   Born in Trenton, he was the son of the late Lucy Zobian Yazujian and Dr. Dikran M. Yazujian.
   Dr. Yazujian graduated from Trenton Central High School in 1937 and attended the University of Pennsylvania from which he received earned a bachelor of arts degree in 1941.
   He went on to medical school at the University of Louisville and received his medical degree.
   Upon completing his internship of Mercer Hospital in Trenton, Dr. Yazujian attended the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Medicine in Ophthalmology. After serving as a resident at the University of Wisconsin at the Wisconsin General Hospital, Dr. Yazujian had a private practice in ophthalmology in Trenton from 1949 to 1993.
   He was on the active staff at Wills Eye Hospital and from 1951 to 1953 served as head of the eye department at Fort Dix, N.J., during the Korean Conflict.
   The majority of his career was spent on the active staff at Mercer Hospital where he served as a chairman of the eye department.
   His professional affiliations included the American Medical Association, the New Jersey State Medical Society, the Mercer County Medical Society, the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Intra-Ocular Implant Society.
   He was a diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1949.
   Dr. Yazujian was a past member of the Torch Club, the Trenton Rotary Club, the Trenton Country Club and the Trenton Club. He served terms as president of both the Washington Crossing Gun Club and the Black Rock Gun Club.
   He remained active in Symposium, the Mercer Medical Center Art Committee and the Friends of the New Jersey State Museum.
   Surviving are his wife of 49 years, Dolores L. Yazujian; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Christina and Mark and Ellen; and five grandchildren, Lauren, Kate, Morgan, Jared and Lila.
   The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. today (March 8) at the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville, 2688 Main St. (Route 206).
