Leon Krzyzanowski
YARDVILLE – Leon Krzyzanowski, 57, died Sunday with his family at his side in Compassionate Care Hospice, Trenton after a long illness.
Born in Hamilton, he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from Hamilton High West and Mercer County College. He worked for Hamilton Township as a surveyor and was a civil engineer for DOT for the State of New Jersey.
He retired in 2002 after 34 years of service. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Son of the late Leon P. and Mary Spisak Krzyzanowski, he is survived by his wife of 32 years, Lillian A. (Coma) Krzyzanowski; two sons, Jason Krzyzanowski of Hamilton and Jeffrey Krzyzanowski and wife Jennifer of Hamilton; his brother, Larry Krzyzanowski of Hamilton; his sister, Louise Morgan and husband Mark of Bordentown; grandchildren Tyler, Victoria and Kimberly; also nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visiting hours are 6-9 p.m. Thursday and again from 10 a.m. Friday until time of service.

Antoinette M. Carugno
FLORENCE Antoinette M. Carugno, 75, of Florence died Saturday at Cooper Hospital in Camden.
Born in Florence, she was a lifelong resident. Mrs. Carugno retired in 1988 as an assembly worker at General Motors Corp. in Ewing Township after nearly 15 years of service. She was a member of St. Clare’s Church of Florence and its Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed baking and loved nature but her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren.
Daughter of the late Michael and Grace Mendozzi Fantozzi and sister of the late Daniel Fantozzi and the late Carmela Cipriano, she is survived by her husband of 50 years, Anthony N. Carugno; a daughter and son-inl-aw, Diane and Rich Shafer of Florence and a son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Susan Carugno of Westampton. Also four sisters and their spouses, Helene DiCioccio of Roebling, Angelini and Joseph Russo of Florence, Anges and the late Frank Campbell of Florence, and Josephine Piotrowski of Bordentown; and a brother, Michael and the late Mary Fantozzi of Roebling. Also four grandchildren, Jason and Ryan Shafer and Michael and Ashley Carugno as well as many nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Wednesday at the Dennison Funeral Home, 214 W. Front St., Florence. Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Clare’s Church. Contributions in her memory may be sent to St. Clare’s Church Improvement Fund at 232 E. Front St., Florence.
Michael G. Keevish
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP Michael G. Keevish, 79, died March 1 at the Compassionate Care Hospice.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Keevish was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton Township resident.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran who served during World War II in the Pacific Theatre of Operations. He owned Little Mike’s Service & Gas Station on South Broad and Cedar Lane, retiring in 1997 after 48 years of operation.
Mr. Keevish was a 40 year member of the Yardley Golf Club, Yardley, Pa. as well as an avid area golfer, winning many trophies and awards from various local tournaments. Additionally, he was a 33 year member of the American Legion, Bordentown Post 26, a member of the Catholic War Veteran’s, Holy Cross Post 417, a member of the Bordentown Elks, BPOE Lodge 2085, and a member of AARP.
Son of the late Michael G. Sr. and Marie Kusnerik Keevish, brother of the late Edward Keevish, Joseph Keevish, Ann Koneski and Florence Nowicki, he is survived by his wife, Louise G. Johnston Keevish; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Matilda Yanno of Trenton and Patricia and James Johnson of Bordentown Township; many nieces and nephews and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
The funeral was held Wednesday from the Winowicz Funeral Home, Adeline and Beatty Streets.
Funeral Liturgy was celebrated Wednesday in the Church of the Holy Angels, 1733 South Broad St. with Msgr. James Innocenzi presiding.
Burial was in the Veteran’s Field of Honor section of Greenwood Cemetery.
Services were held Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mary V. Swinnerton
LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP Mary V. Swinnerton, 92, died Thursday at home.
Born in Johnstown, Pa., Ms. Swinnerton came to Trenton in 1921 and moved to Lawrenceville in 1929.
In her retirement from 1983 to 2003, Ms. Swinnerton managed Richard’s Farm Market on the family farm on Quakerbridge Road. She retired from her lifelong career as a bookkeeper in 1983 with over 16 years of service with H.P. Claytons of Princeton and was previously employed by Frank E. South Cadillac-Oldsmobile dealer in Princeton for 17 years.
She was a member of Girls Friendly Society and Women’s Professional Club of Princeton and was a charter member of Good Fellowship of Y.W.C.A. during World War II.
Daughter of the late Samuel and Josephine Scudderi Vaccaro, wife of the late Stanley H. Swinnerton, sister of the late James and his wife Mildred, Carmella, Tillie and Ann Vaccaro, sister-in-law of the late John Grochala and Margaret Vaccaro, she is survived by four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Guy and Josephine Vaccaro of Burlington, Anthony and Phyllis Vaccaro of Columbus, Joseph Vaccaro of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., John and Robbie Vaccaro of Lawrenceville; a sister, Frances Grochala of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday at St. Paul’s Church, 214 Nassau St., Princeton.
Burial was private and at the convenience of the family.

Jeanette Irons
FLORENCE TOWNSHIP Jeanette Irons, nee Henry, 52, of Roebling, died Feb. 27.
Born in Trenton, Ms. Irons was a lifelong Bordentown resident prior to moving to Roebling ten years ago.
Daughter of the late Harry J. Henry and sister of the late Jay E. Henry, she is survived by her husband, Terry L. Irons of Roebling; her mother, Ruth Henry of Fla.; two daughters, Dawn Downs and her spouse, Ed, of Pemberton Borough; April Irons and her spouse, Jack, of Bordentown; a son, Terry Irons Jr. of Roebling; two brothers, John E. Henry and his spouse, Sharon, of East Windsor and Jim E. Henry and his spouse, Sandy, of Florida; a sister, Ruthann R. Williams and her spouse, Dan, of Florida; a sister-in-law, Regina Henry; several grandchildren, Edward J. Downs III, Elana Downs, Nicholas Irons, Kathryn Irons and Courtney Rumery; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Dashawnda Russell.
A celebration of her life was held Saturday at the Huber-Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown.
Burial followed in the Bordentown Cemetery.

Anne Victoria Kuliczkowski Nowicki
EWING Anne Victoria Kuliczkowski Nowicki, 81, died Saturday at Care One at Ewing where she had been a resident.
Born in Trenton, Mrs. Nowicki formerly lived in Hamilton Township.
She was retired from Sears where she was a sales clerk for 17 years. She was an avid music fan following her husband’s orchestra for their 56 years of marriage.
Daughter of the late Wojciech and Victoria Slabicki Kuliczkowski, she was also predeceased by brothers Stanley, John, Michael, Anthony and Joseph Kuliczkowski, by sisters Mary Skwara and Julia Zoladz, and by her husband Adam Nowicki. She is survived by her daughters, Anita, wife of Paul Dombrowski, of Boyertown, Pa., and Adele, wife of Michael Tardiff, of Florence; four grandchildren, Amy Dombrowski, wife of Sgt. Ommannan Gonzalez-Perez, U.S. Army, Andrew Dombrowski, Lauren Tardiff and David Tardiff; one great-grandchild; one sister, Jean Szubrowski of Trenton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 1 in Divine Mercy parish-Church of the Holy Cross with the Rev. Stanley Lukaszewski presiding.
Interment followed in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton Township.
A vigil wake service was conducted Feb. 28 with Msgr. Edward Arnister, pastor, officiating.
