The YWCA Princeton and the League of Women Voters of the Princeton Area will jointly host the Princeton Borough Police Department’s first female lieutenant, Lt. Sharon Papp, for a discussion titled "The Challenge for Women in Achieving Professional Success."
The meeting will include an explanation of issues that face police as well as a question and answer session with Lt. Papp.
Lt. Papp first joined the department in 1993 and was promoted to lieutenant in January. She previously worked for the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mercer County Sheriff’s Department. She has a bachelor’s degree from Rider University and a master’s degree from Seton Hall University.
The meeting will be held at the YWCA Princeton’s Bramwell House on Paul Robeson Place at 2 p.m. March 23.
