LAMBERTVILLE To mark the fourth anniversary of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, citizen groups from New Jersey and Pennsylvania will co-sponsor a march and rally calling for an end to the U.S. occupation and for bringing the troops home.
The event will begin 2 p.m. Sunday with a rally at Centenary United Methodist Church, 108 North Union St., Lambertville.
Carpooling from Princeton will be 1 p.m. from the Eckerd Drug side of Princeton Shopping Center.
After the initial rally, scheduled to last 45 minutes, participants will march over the Bridge Street pedestrian section into New Hope for a second rally.

Among the confirmed speakers and performers are The Rev. Robert Moore, executive director of Coalition for Peace Action; Sue Niederer, mother of a soldier killed in Iraq; the Rev. Muriel Burrows, pastor of Witherspoon Street Presbyterian Church. In addition, there will be musical performances.
