SERGEANTSVILLE Hunting and fishing enthusiasts are invited to attend a flea market Sunday to benefit firefighters.
All proceeds from the seventh annual Sergeantsville’s Hunting and Fishing Tackle Flea Market will go to the Sergeantsville Volunteer Fire Company.
More than 90 vendors are scheduled to attend this year. On hand will be fishing collectibles, custom turkey calls, fresh and saltwater gear. A fly tying demonstration also is scheduled for popular flies and hook sizes.
New and used fishing tackle, nautical equipment and hunting and archery equipment will be on sale.
One vendor will have samples made from recipes for sale in his book of wild game and fish. Cutting boards and knives, for both outdoor and kitchen use, also will be for sale.
As in years past, there also will be free appraisals of antique fishing gear. And like last year, information on New Jersey’s boater’s license will be available.
All vendor tables will be housed indoors, allowing the flea market to be held rain or shine.
Breakfast, lunch and soft drinks will be available for purchase.
The flea market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sergeantsville firehouse on Route 532 near the Route 604 intersection. Admission is $3. Children under 14 are admitted free.
