Calvin Blaser Sr.

   ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Calvin George Blaser died March 5 in St. Anthony’s Hospital. He was 74.
   Born in West Hazleton, Pa., he lived in Manville before moving to St. Petersburg.
   Mr. Blaser was employed as supervisor by Johns-Manville Corporation for 40 years before retiring.
   He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
   He was a member of Post 12 American Legion in Somerville and past exalted ruler of BPOE Lodge 2119 in Manville. He was a life member of both organizations.
   Surviving are his wife, Elaine Blaser; a daughter, Jacqueline Patton of Spring Hill, Fla.; a son, Calvin G. Blaser Jr. of Clearfield, Utah; a brother, Thomas of W. Hazleton, Pa.; two sisters, Shirley Stryker of Baldwin, N.Y., and Fran Blaser of Allentown, Pa.; three grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
   Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Alife Tribute Funeral Care, Largo, Fla.
