Thomas LaPenna
Thomas LaPenna, 82, died Friday at Capital Health System, Fuld Campus.
Born in Pennington, Mr. LaPenna was a lifelong area resident.
He retired after 30 years with Kramer-Trenton Co. and was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion Post 458.
Predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Nellie Spadiccino LaPenna, and his wife, Curtiss VanMetre LaPenna, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Lylian VanMetre of Ringoes; two granddaughters, Stacey VanMetre and Lauren VanMetre Cevasco; a nephew Thomas LaPenna; a best friend Dominick Arone; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Monday at Colonial Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Funeral arrangements were by Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, Ewing.

Curtiss VanMetre LaPenna, 82, of Pennington died March 6 at Capital Health Systems, Fuld Campus.
Born in Red House, Ky., Mrs. LaPenna resided in the Trenton area most of her life. She retired after 30 years with Bell Atlantic as a phone operator.
Daughter of the late Armor and Greta Durban Gray, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Lily VanMetre of Ringoes; two granddaughters, Lauren VanMetre Cevasco and Stacey VanMetre; one brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Marie Stencil of Trenton; one sister, Connie Houston of North Carolina; a cousin, Marie "Sis" Salay of Yardville; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Monday at Colonial Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Parkside Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, Ewing.
