Holy Trinity Rosarians will host a bus trip to the Showboat Casino in Atlantic City March 18.
The bus is scheduled to leave from Holy Trinity parish hall on Exchange Place at 12:45 p.m.
The cost is $25 and each person will receive $22 in cash and $5 in food credit. Sandwiches, dessert and water will be served on the bus.

The Allenhurst Police Association will hold an early spring food drive to benefit the Mercy Center in Asbury Park. All nonperishable food items are acceptable, but the center is very low on canned fruit, crackers, cookies, bread, mayonnaise, juice and canned tuna.

The Long Branch Concordance (LBC) will host its spring fundraising event, “A Taste of Spring,” April 12 from 6-9 p.m. at Cask 591 in Long Branch. The benefit cocktail party will feature hors d’oeuvres, fine wine and decadent desserts. Guests will enjoy the jazz sounds of guitarist Jerry Topinka. Evening highlights include a silent auction and a 50/50 cash raffle. The evening’s honoree will be Colleen Meyers, community resource development manager of MonmouthCares.
