LAW
Deborah T. Poritz received the Barbara Boggs Sigmund Award from the Women’s Political Caucus of New Jersey Political Action Committee. Ms. Poritz is of counsel at Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP in Plainsboro, the firm she joined after stepping down last fall as Chief Justice of the New Jersey Supreme Court. The award, which honors visionary women, was named in honor of Barbara Boggs Sigmund who served as mayor of Princeton, was a founder of Women’s Space and a leader in the woman’s movement in New Jersey.
Marc A. Citron, a partner in the real estate department of Saul Ewing LLP, has been appointed managing partner of the firm’s Plainsboro office. He will oversee 24 attorneys who currently represent local and national clients in corporate, creditors’ rights and environmental, estates and trusts, healthcare, insurance, litigation and real estate law.
Mr. Citron’s practice includes a broad range of commercial real estate matters, as well as complex acquisitions, sales, joint ventures, and leasing and development.
Katherine Buttolph has joined the Princeton law firm Mason, Griffin & Pierson, PC, of counsel. Previously serving as an attorney with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Massachusetts Department of Fish and Game, director of land preservation for D&R Greenway Land Trust and counsel to Princeton University human resources department, she practices in the areas of local government law and employment law.
Edward H. Herman, a partner with Hill Wallack LLP in West Windsor, has been re-appointed municipal court judge in the Borough of Spotswood, Middlesex County. Mr. Herman is a member of the firm’s litigation division and partner-in-charge of the workers’ compensation and automotive dealers business and liability practice groups. He has been practicing law for more than 30 years and has presided as municipal court judge in Spotswood since 1987. He also serves as municipal court judge in the boroughs of Plainsboro, Cranbury and Highland Park and at the Middlesex County Jail.
The Lawrence law firm of Stark & Stark has announced the addition of Jeffrey S. Posta as a shareholder and member of the bankruptcy and creditor’s rights group. He was previously with the law firm of Sterns & Weinroth in Trenton. Mr. Posta is a resident of Pennington.
Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein, Blader & Lehmann PC, a law firm based in Lawrence, announced the recent addition of two attorneys to its staff.
Daniel S. Sweetser, who joined the firm as a partner, has over 15 years of experience as a litigator, with an emphasis in business employment and labor law. He resides in Langhorne, Pa., with his wife Liz, and four sons.
Also added is Robert P. Panzer, an associate attorney who specializes in family law and civil litigation. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 2000. Mr. Panzer resides in Bordentown.

Brand marketing agency Princeton Partners named Jeff Chesebro president. Tom Sullivan, formerly president and chief executive officer, continues as chairman and CEO. Mr. Chesebro joined Princeton Partners 18 months ago as vice president and group account director. Founded in 1965, the firm is based in Plainsboro.
HEALTH & MEDICINE
Patient Marketing Group has named Neal Wiser to the post of project manager. Patient Marketing Group specializes in patient relationship marketing for the pharmaceutical industry and is based in Plainsboro.
NONPROFIT
Donald B. Veix Jr. has been appointed chairman of the YMCA-YWCA of Princeton Board of Joint Trustees. The joint board is comprised of representative directors from both the YMCA and YWCA of Princeton, who share the facilities located at Paul Robeson Place and Bayard Lane. Joint trustees are charged with the management of these facilities on behalf of the two Y organizations. Mr. Veix has served on the Board of Directors of the Princeton Family YMCA for 15 years. He is an attorney with the Princeton law firm of Mason, Griffin & Pierson where he sits as a director and shareholder of the firm.
John M. Elias, an attorney with Greenberg Traurig, has been elected to serve on the state board of directors of Junior Achievement of New Jersey. Junior Achievement is dedicated to inspiring and preparing young people to succeed in a global economy. Through a dedicated volunteer network, JA provides in-school and after-school programs for students in kindergarten through grade 12. JA-NJ is based in South Brunswick.
Herb Greenburg, founder, president and chief executive officer of West Windsor-based Caliper International, will receive the 2007 Star Stream Award at the annual Crystal Ball of the Mid Jersey Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International on May 4. An authority on the relationship between personality and job performance, Dr. Greenburg developed the Caliper Profile, a proprietary personality assessment, which identifies the potential, motivations and strengths of applicants and employees.

West Windsor resident Bernard P. McNeilly has been named a regional business manager at Parsons Brinckerhoff based in West Windsor. He is responsible for PB’s business activities in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Parsons Brinckerhoff provides engineering and construction management consulting, as well as operations and maintenance services for transportation, building, power and environmental projects worldwide.

Films Media Group, based in Lawrence, announced the appointment of Vincent Vezza to senior vice president, sales and direct marketing. Primedia’s Films Media Group is a source of videos, DVDs, and CD-ROMs to schools, colleges and libraries in North America.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
John E. McWeeney Jr., market president of southern New Jersey for Bank of America, has been appointed president and chief executive officer of NJBankers. Prior to this appointment he served on the NJB’s board of trustees. He joined Fleet Boston Financial (now Bank of America) in 1979 as a management trainee and will be retiring from Bank of America and assuming his new duties in early April. NJBankers is the trade association representing New Jersey banks, with offices in South Brunswick.
ARCHITECTURE
KSS Architects, an architectural design firm headquartered in Princeton, has added to its staff: Beth Schaffer a recent graduate from Virginia Tech will concentrate on higher education, industrial and town planning projects; Brielle Cordingley, an architectural assistant, focuses on residential and religious design; Kimberly Morris, interior design; interns Johnathan Fountain and Katie Masi; and Jill Naylor, an assistant to the partners at KSS.

Plainsboro-based CMWare Inc., a provider of place-shifting solutions for mobile carriers, appointed Raul Fernandez, chairman and chief executive officer of ObjectVideo, to its board of directors. Since 2001, Mr. Fernandez has served as a member of the President’s Counsel of Advisors on Science and Technology.
