Steven Mishkin, M.D., has been elected to a two-year term as chief of staff by the medical-dental staff of CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Dr. Mishkin, an ophthalmologist who chaired CentraState’s Ophthal-mology Department from 1997 to 2006, joined the medical staff in 1988. He was assistant chief of staff the past two years and has been a member of the Centra-State Healthcare System Board of Trustees since 2003.
Mishkin is in private practice at Millennium Eye Care, which operates five offices in central New Jersey. Board certified in ophthalmology, he earned a medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, N.Y., and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He lives with his family in Marlboro.
T&M Associates, an engineering and planning firm, has announced the hiring of John C. Jennings, P.P., AICP, as principal planner for the company’s planning division.
Jennings has more than 31 years of experience in professional planning. He has prepared traffic impact studies for transit villages. He also worked on traffic modeling and analysis for Secaucus Transit Village, Allentown Westerly Bypass, Route 42, and College Drive Interchange. Some of his more extensive work includes public involvement and planning guidance regarding safe access to various urban, suburban and rural schools, day-care facilities and colleges.
In his role as principal planner, Jennings will be responsible for the management of projects based out of T&M’s Planning Division in Middletown.
Jennings graduated from Rider University, Lawrenceville, with a bachelor of arts degree in political science, and holds a master of science degree in political science from Rutgers University Graduate School. He is also a New Jersey State-licensed professional planner. Jennings resides in Freehold Township.
