The Freehold District is well represented on the 2007 Felician College baseball team. Howell’s Kevin Barrett and Manalapan’s Kevin Ernst, Jordan Noval and Dave Schoer are all playing for the Golden Falcons. The team is 9-11 having completed its Southern swing.
Barrett, a senior who graduated from St. Rose, is 1-0 pitching in relief for Felician. He has appeared in six games and has a 5.59 earned run average.
Ernst, a hard-throwing freshman, is 0-1 in four starts with 18 strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings of work. His ERA is 4.67. Noval, a sophomore catcher, is batting .812 and has hit three doubles and scored six runs in the eight games he’s played. Schoer, a sophomore third baseman, has a home run, eight RBIs and 11 runs scored while batting .229 in 15 games.
Felician College is an NCAA Division II member of the Central Atlantic College Conference.
