Lillian M. Brandt, 88, of Kendall Park, died Tuesday, March 20, in the Franklin Care Center.
Born in Kingston, she was a lifelong Kingston resident before moving to Kendall Park in 1977.
She retired as a bookkeeper for Princeton University Store in Princeton. She was a past-president of the South Brunswick Seniors, life member of the Kingston Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, a life member of the Kingston First Aid Squad and active in the Charleston Place Social Seniors.
Her husband, Emil Brandt, is deceased. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Francis J. Snyder Jr. of Fort Smith, Ark., and Dale L. and Maryann Brandt of Monmouth Junction; two daughters and a son-in-law, Diane L. Ellison of Texas, and Debbie L. and Arthur Roedel of Monmouth Junction; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. from the M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, 616 ridge Road at New Road, Monmouth Junction. Burial will follow in Kingston Presbyterian Cemetery, Kingston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the South Brunswick Lions Club, 4017 Route 1, Monmouth Junction, N.J. 08852.
