Frank E. Nagren

   CHESTERFIELD — Frank E. Nagren, 80, died Sunday at his home.
   He was born in Hamilton Township and had resided all of his life in this area.
   He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and had retired from the Mercer County Bridge Department. He was a member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church and the Elks Lodge 2085.
   He is survived by his wife, Anne "Josephick" Nagren; two brothers, Edmund "Ink" Nagren of Hamilton and John "Joe" Nagren of Forked River; three sisters, Helen Blatchford, Grace Bruce and Marie Barna all of Hamilton; a sister-in-law, Mary Lueckel of Chesterfield; a brother-in-law, Henry Josephick of Toms River; and several nieces and nephews.
   A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. today, Thursday, in St. Mary’s Church, 45 Crosswicks St., Bordentown.
   A visitation will be held Thursday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown.
   Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Mary’s School Grab-A-Tool Fund or the Elks Crippled Children’s Committee.
William A. Wyatt

   HAMILTON — William A. Wyatt, 81, died Saturday at St. Francis Medical Center in Trenton.
   Born in Darby, Pa., he resided in the Trenton area for most of his life.
   He was a former employee of Trenton Potteries and he retired as an iron worker for Local 68.
   Mr. Wyatt was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was an amateur prizefighter out of Darby, Pa. He turned professional at age 18 and he fought from 1947 to 1952. He was inducted into the Trenton Boxing Hall of Fame in 1975.
   Son of the late Frances Parke, father of the late Thomas Wyatt, brother of the late Jane Henry and companion of the late Doris Oresik, he is survived by his daughter, Jeanee M. Wyatt of Hamilton; his two sons, William Wyatt of Alaska and Scott Wyatt of Bordentown; one granddaughter, Irene Gegenheimer of Hamilton; two sisters, Catherine Ziegler of Hamilton Square and Helen Yansak of Collegeville, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral will be held 11 a.m. today, Thursday, at the Mullen Funeral Home, 537 S. Olden Ave., Trenton.
   Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
   Friends may call from 10 a.m. Thursday until time of service at the funeral home.
Evelyn Conover Danser

   PRINCETON — Evelyn Conover Danser, 94, died at home March 16.
   Born in Manalapan, she was a lifelong resident of Cranbury and Hightstown before moving to the Pavilions at Forrestal in 1999. Ms. Danser was married for 53 years to the late Oscar Young Danser.
   She was the daughter of the late Clifford L. Conover and the late Anita Holcombe Conover and stepdaughter of the late Anna Hancock Conover. She was predeceased by two brothers, Tunis and Herbert Conover, two sisters, Esther Conover Robbins and Anna Mae Conover Williams and a granddaughter, Elizabeth Jamison Danser.
   She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Robert Stahl of North Fort Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Connie Danser of Princeton, and two sons and daughters-in-law, William and Linda Danser of Columbus and Gordon and Christine Danser of Pennington; nine grandchildren, Kimberly Cianfrano, Penelope Vann, Scott Stahl, Christopher Stahl, Douglas Struve, Jody Struve, Elise Pelcz, Andrea Danser and Catherine Danser; eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; many friends; a brother and sister-in-law, Clifford and Joan Conover of Hightstown; a brother-in-law, Henry Williams of Port Charlotte, Fla.; and friend and caregiver, Doris Conley.
   A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at the A.S. Cole Son & Company Funeral Home, 22 North Main Street, Cranbury, with the Rev. Dr. Louis Mitchell presiding.
   Her ashes will be interred in Brainerd Cemetery following the service.

Julia E. Darvas

   MOUNT HOLLY — Julia E. Darvas, 89, of Roebling, died March 16 in Samaritan Hospice, Virtua Memorial Hospital, Mount Holly.
   Mrs. Darvas was born in Hungary and resided in Roebling lifelong.
   She worked for many years at the Horseman Doll Factory, Trenton. She was a star pitcher and catcher for the 1939 Roebling girls softball championship team. She was a 1997 recipient of the title of "Miss Roebling."
   Mrs. Darvas was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church, formerly of the Holy Assumption School P.T.A., Florence Township Chapter of Deborah, AARP and Roebling Historical Society.
   Daughter of the late Stephen and Brigita Boytos Varga, wife of the late Joseph J. Darvas, mother of the late Joseph S. Darvas, and sister of the late Eugene Varga, she is survived by a daughter, Joan Crawley; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joann Darvas, John Darvas and Jim Darvas, all of Roebling; four grandsons, Donald, Edward, Kevin and Jason; seven great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held Wednesday from Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling.
   Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, with the Rev. Albert Ricciardelli officiating.

Margaret Black

   BORDENTOWN — Margaret (nee Hogan) Black, 88, a former resident of Bordentown, died at the Fountains at Cedar Parke in Berlin on March 14.
   She had taught for many years at Peter Muschal Elementary School in Bordentown.
   She was preceded in death by her husband Wallace K. Black and daughter Karen L. Sweeney. She is survived by her loving daughter Mimo (Keith) Betten; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Charles Ronald Valentino Jr.

   BORDENTOWN — Charles Ronald Valentino Jr., 24, died March 13.
   Born in Abington, Pa., Mr. Valentino was a longtime resident of Willow Grove, Pa., before moving to Bordentown one year ago.
   He was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School in Willow Grove, Class of 2000, and was on its wrestling team. He was employed as a union carpenter for the last year. Some of his hobbies included motorcycles, shooting pool, swimming, soccer, lifting weights, riding roller coasters, the ocean, and spending time with his friends.
   He is survived by his father and stepmother, Charles R. Sr. and Raffeaela Valentino of Bordentown; his mother and stepfather, Marcia L. and John Kling of Willow Grove, Pa.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Jill Patterson and her fiance Kevin Collins of Perkasie, Pa. and Jessica and Steve Pambianco of Dedham, Maine; two step-sisters and their spouses, Tracey and Sean Kelly of Howell and Dina and Adam Ranello of Roebling; one stepbrother and his spouse, Erik and Nancy Kling of Pennsburg, Pa.; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy M. Tillman of Willow Grove, Pa.; his step-grandmother, Joan E. Kling of Willow Grove, Pa.; his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Morgan, Steven Reed, Reed Robert, McKenna Sue and Willow Rayne; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
   A funeral service was held Saturday at the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave., Bordentown.
   Interment was at Princeton Memorial Park, Robbinsville.
   Arrangements are under the direction of the Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown.
John S. Szucsik

   NADIK, Mass. — Mr. John S. Szucsik, 61, died March 12 at his home.
   Born in Trenton, he was a Trenton resident for most of his life before moving to Nadik, Mass.
   He is survived by his wife, Stacy; his best friend and loving daughter Amanda Mary Szucsik of Irvine, Calif.; one brother and sister-in-law, Joseph F. and Cynthia Szucsik of Jacobstown; one nephew, Joseph Szucsik III, of Hamilton; and three cousins and their wives, George and Julia Szucsik of Fla., John and Barbara Szucsik of Cincinnati, Ohio and Stephen and Margaret Szucsik of New Jersey.
   A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday at Our Lady of Sorrows-St. Anthony Parish, 626 S. Olden Ave., Trenton.
   Burial was in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Arneytown.
   The family request that donations in his memory be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Vera Jean Rissman Quick

   HAMILTON — Vera Jean Rissman Quick, 77, died March 12 at Arcadia Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hamilton.
   Born in Detroit, Mich., she lived most of her life in the Trenton area.
   She was a member of the St. Raphael/Holy Angels Parish at St. Raphael’s, a member of their Altar Rosary Society and devoted many years to helping the children at the school. She was a member, chaplain and trustee of the DeCou Ladies Auxiliary, a member and chaplain of the DeCou Senior Citizens, life member of the Mercer County Fireman’s Ladies Auxiliary, life member of the Fireman of the State of New Jersey Ladies Auxiliary, member of the Hamilton Township Senior Citizens and a devoted grandmother who also enjoyed dancing and swimming. She was also a devoted hockey fan.
   Daughter of the late Harvey W. and Vera Minnie Allemang Rissman, and wife of the late Robert F. Quick, she is survived by a son, Kevin Quick of Robbinsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Dennis Kuti of Bordentown; five grandchildren, Jennifer Kuti, Daniel Kuti, Scott Kuti, Ryan Quick and Kyle Quick; and many nieces and nephews.
   The funeral was held Saturday from the Buklad Yardville Memorial Chapel, 30 Yardville Allentown Road in Yardville, with Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael’s Church.
   Entombment followed in Princeton Memorial Park Mausoleum in Robbinsville.

Darleen Clark Callery

   ROSEVILLE — Darleen Clark Callery, 85, of Roseville, died March 12 in Traditional Home Care, Roseville.
   Mrs. Callery was born in Denver, Colo., and resided in Florence Township since 1946, before moving to Calif. Several years ago.
   She was a retired Supply Division Supervisor, employed by the US Air Force, McGuire Air Base, with 30 years of service.
   Mrs. Callery was a member of Holy Assumption Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society of the church, serving as past president. She was a member of Willitts Hogan Tonne Unit 39, serving as past president, John A. Roebling Senior Citizens, Roebling Historical Society, NARFE and the Florence Township Chapter of Deborah.
   Wife of the late William E. Callery, she is survived by a nephew, Warren Jones; and several nieces, Carole Hood, Barbara Clark and Shirley Heagy.
   The funeral was held Monday from Koschek and Porter Funeral Directors, 1115 Hornberger Ave., Roebling.
   A Funeral Mass was held at Holy Assumption Catholic Church, Roebling, with the Rev. Albert Ricciardelli officiating.
   Burial was in the parish cemetery.
