MANVILLE Irene M. Crofcheck died March 20 at JFK Hospital in Edison. She was 74.
She was born in Eckley, Pa., and lived in Manville for the past 56 years.
Mrs. Crofcheck worked at Jelco Pharmaceuticals in Raritan and then at Medici Pharmaceuticals in Hillsborough for many years before retiring in 1994.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough.
A brother, Andrew Fatula, is deceased.
Surviving are her husband, John Crofcheck of Manville; one son, Gary of Manville; a daughter, Darlene Cherney of Gallup, N.M.; two brothers, Mike Fatula of Hazelton and George Fatula of Manville; five sisters, Margaret Roman of Weatherly, Pa., Christine Akers of Zionsville, Pa., Jean Meyers of Bridgewater, Janice Gallucci of Freeland, Pa. and Sandra Johnson of Jeddo, Pa.; and four grandchildren.
The funeral service was conducted March 23 from Ketusky Funeral Home in Manville, followed by a Divine Liturgy at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Drums, Pa.
