LAW
Princeton attorney Hanan M. Isaacs will be recognized as one of New Jersey’s 25 "Legends of Alternative Dispute Resolution" as part of ADR Day Thursday, April 12.
Mr. Isaacs, an accredited professional mediator and noted trial lawyer in divorce, employment, civil and criminal matters, has been a national pioneer in the field of alternative dispute resolution. He has 25 years of experience as a professional mediator in New Jersey. He co-authored New Jersey’s Uniform Mediation Act, which passed the New Jersey Legislature unanimously in 2004, a model effort nationally; and his recent divorce reform, the "Irreconcilable Differences" bill, was signed into state law two months ago.
MARKETING
Oxford Communications, an advertising, public relations and graphic design firm based in Lambertville, with offices in New York, promoted Justin Gravante and Sean McGinnis to the position of senior designer. Mr. Gravante designs interactive media, advertising and marketing collateral for the agency’s clientele.
Prior to joining Oxford as designer in May 2006, Mr. Gravante was a designer with Dentino Marketing in Jersey City. He lives in Audubon, and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in communications arts degree from Rowan University.
Mr. McGinnis graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia in December 2004, having earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design. He joined Oxford as a junior designer the same month. He participates in conceptualization, design and presentation of new creative for the agency’s clientele. Mr. McGinnis lives in Northeast Philadelphia, and is engaged to be married.
Princeton Communications Group Inc. has hired Phil Schatz as associate creative director. He will help to oversee the creative side of agency projects. Previously associate creative director at Princeton Partners Inc., he also held positions at New York advertising agencies Korey Kay & Partners, and Angotti Thomas Hedge.
Princeton Communications Group, located in Pennington, is a full-service marketing communications agency and handles local and national advertising campaigns as well as employee recruitment and retention to crisis communications.
TECHNOLOGY
Ewing-based Universal Display Corp., a developer of displays and lighting using its phosphorescent OLED technology, has announced its chief technical officer, Dr. Julie Brown, has been inducted into the New Jersey High-Tech Hall of Fame. The NJHT Hall of Fame spotlights the technological achievements of business leaders, researchers, educators, and government officials who have made New Jersey a leading state in the high-tech industry. Dr. Brown was honored with seven other inductees selected by members of the industry through balloting coordinated by the American Electronics Association, the Biotechnology Council of New Jersey, and the Health Care Institute of New Jersey.
"Everyone at Universal Display is extremely proud of Julie’s induction, which is especially noteworthy as it comes from her peers in the technology sector," stated Steven V. Abramson, president and chief operating officer of Universal Display in a company release. "An integral part of Universal Display since joining the company in June 1998, she is a leader in the research and advancement of PhOLED technology, helping to make commercialization a reality," Mr. Abramson stated.
REAL ESTATE
Nan Goldenberg has been appointed sales associate for Princeton Windrows senior living community in Plainsboro. She brings more than 15 years sales experience to her new position and will be responsible for sales and marketing activities of the community, which features a range of villas, town homes and apartment-style condominiums on 35-acres. Ms. Goldenberg is a resident of East Windsor.
Princeton Windrows also appointed Eric Eichhorst sales coordinator. He will assist and support sales and marketing activities for the community.
Princeton Windrows senior living community is located about four miles from downtown Princeton.
NONPROFIT
The Trustees of the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation have announced that Thomas N. Wilfrid has been named as the foundation’s next executive director, effective January 1, 2008. He will be replacing the founding director, Janet A. Fearon, who has announced her retirement after 28 years of service. Ms. Fearon will continue as one of the foundation’s five trustees.
Mr. Wilfrid is vice president for academic and student affairs at Mercer County Community College, where he has been employed since 1969, and recently completed 19 months as acting president.
An active participant in the life of Lawrence Township, his home community, Mr. Wilfrid has served as mayor and board of education president. He is currently in his sixth year as chair of Lawrence Township’s planning board. Additionally he chairs the steering committee for the Eggerts Crossing Village Community Project.
The Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation is an independent foundation that began in 1979 as the result of a bequest from the estate of Mrs. Newcombe, a Philadelphia philanthropist, that continues her support of students as they pursue degrees in higher education by maintaining scholarship and fellowship programs that are in keeping with her lifelong interests. Currently, the foundation funds a major national fellowship program in the humanities and social sciences at the doctoral dissertation level, and three scholarship programs for undergraduates. Individuals do not apply to the foundation directly, but by contacting a participating college or, for the doctoral fellowships, the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation.

HEALTH & MEDICINE
Complete Health & Chiropractic Center in Lawrence, recently announced that Bryan Haig has joined as director, physical therapy. Previously a staff physical therapist at Hamilton Physical Therapy Services, he is available for new-patient visits in his newly created position in Lawrence.
