“Generation to Generation: Musical Moments in Monmouth County Jewish History” will be featured at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters, April 22 at 2 p.m. in recognition of Jewish Heritage Week. Jewish Heritage Week, April 22-28, was first proclaimed by President Reagan in 1981, in homage to the significant contributions made by the Jewish community to the United States.
The program will feature Cantor David Amar of Freehold Jewish Center, Congregaton Agudath Achim, Cantor Marla Barugel of Congregation B’Nai Israel, Rumson, Cantor Avima Rudavsky Darnov of Marlboro Jewish Center and the Solomon Schechter Academy Children’s Choir directed by Marilyn Cohen. It is sponsored by the Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County and co-sponsored by the Monmouth County Library.
