Quint J. Skewis, 37, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 1:13 a.m. March 18.
Police said Mr. Skewis was stopped for speeding on Sunnymead Road in his 2006 Pontiac. Police said they transported Mr. Skewis to police headquarters, where they said he registered a 0.18 percent blood alcohol content level. A BAC of 0.08 percent or higher is classified under state law as driving while intoxicated.
Mr. Skewis was released with a court date of March 27.

Cathy Fernandes, 35, of Cranford, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 12:17 a.m. March 14.
Police said they responded to a disabled 2003 silver Mercedes-Benz involved in an accident on Hamilton Road. Police said they smelled alcohol on Ms. Fernandes, and she failed sobriety tests.
Police said Ms. Fernandes was transported to headquarters where she was charged additionally with failure to submit to a Breathalyzer, careless driving and failing to exhibit a registration certificate.
Ms. Fernandes was released with a court date of March 27.

Vladimir Guaman, 18, of Ecuador, was charged with obstructing/resisting at 2:59 p.m. March 18.
Police said they stopped Mr. Guaman on Amwell Road, just east of Eves Road, in his 1994 Toyota for crossing the double yellow line several times.
Police said Mr. Guaman provided them with a fictitious license and that his own license was suspended. Police said Mr. Guaman was also charged with driving while suspended and failure to keep right. He was released with a mandatory court date of March 27.

Christopher J. Sasso, 21, of Hillsborough, was charged with driving while intoxicated at 2:59 a.m. March 25.
Police said they stopped Mr. Sasso in his 2003 Mitsubishi at the intersection of Pembroke Terrace and Woods Road for crossing the double yellow divider lines. Police said they performed sobriety tests on Mr. Sasso, which he failed, and he was transported to police headquarters.
Police said they tested Mr. Sasso’s BAC to be 0.10 percent.
Mr. Sasso was also charged with failure to keep right and released with a court date of April 3.

Annette Conturso, 19, of Belle Mead, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after police stopped the vehicle she was a passenger in on Amwell Road.
She was released after posting $550 bail for two outstanding warrants, one for $300 for failing to appear in court and another for $250 for failing to appear for an earlier drug paraphernalia charge.

Three people are facing multiple charges after police responded to the Lowes Home Improvement Store in the Hillsborough Promenade at 3:51 p.m. March 23 for report that three vacuum cleaners, valued at $1,000, had been taken.
Anthony Iavarone, 35, of Ewing; Carlo Iavarone, 36, of Trenton; and Jessica Newman, 25, of Trenton, were each charged with shoplifting, hindering apprehension, unlawful possession of a hypodermic needle, being disorderly and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Ms. Newman was also additionally charged with a second count of hindering apprehension.
All three accused were transported to police headquarters and bail was set at $25,000, with no 10 percent option.
Ms. Newman was transported by the Hillsborough Rescue Squad to the Somerset Medical Center for labor pains, and later released.
All three were later transported to the Somerset County Jail.
