A member of the Freehold Township Senior Center will present her personal story as a Holocaust survivor, April 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the center, 116 Jackson Mills Road, Freehold Township. She will also answer questions regarding the ordeal and how she was able to survive. The program is presented by the Freehold Township Senior Center and Congregation Kol Am. Guests are welcome to attend a dinner prior to the presentation. The dinner is $5 per person and will be served at 5:45 p.m. To attend the program only is free to all, but reservations are required for one or both portions. Soap opera stars will
visit ‘Stars That Shine’
The second annual “Stars That Shine” casino night karaoke and celebrity bartending soap opera event has been scheduled for April 14 at the Deal Golf and Country Club, Deal.
The event is a fundraiser to benefit the Central Jersey Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The following actors and actresses are scheduled to appear: From “As The World Turns,” Alexandra Chando (Maddie), Zach Roerig (Casey), Van Hansis (Luke) and Elena Goode (Jade); from “Guiding Light,” Mandy Bruno (Marina) and Marcy Rylan (Lizzie); and other daytime stars.
