The Walter M. Schirra School PTA will sponsor its first Spring Tricky Tray beginning at 7:30 p.m. on April 27 at Carl Sandburg Middle School, Old Bridge. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Admission cost is $5 in advance, $7 at the door, and includes a free coffee and dessert. The event also will feature prizes and a 50/50. Alcoholic beverage will not be permitted. Participants must be age 18 or above to attend.

Drama club to stage
‘Monster in the Closet’
The Wilson Drama Club will present its production of “The Monster in the Closet” at 7 p.m. on April 26 at the school, 65 Dane St., Sayreville.
The play tells the story of Emily, a young girl who, along with her friends, tries to capture Murray, the “closet monster” who has been assigned to her by the Dream King.
Tickets will be available at the door on the night of the performance at a cost of $1 for students and $2 for adults.
Car wash to defray
cost of youth-group trip
The Messiah Lutheran Church Youth Group will sponsor a car wash from 9 a.m. to noon on April 22 at the church, 3091 Bordentown Ave., Parlin section of Sayreville.
Free-will donations will be accepted. Event proceeds will go toward costs associated with the group’s upcoming Junior High Servant Trip to Washington, D.C.

Bandit’s Spring Bazaar
Sayreville Pet Adoption Center, 1400 Main St., will hold its fourth annual Bandit’s Spring Bazaar and Flower Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on May 6 in the shelter parking lot.
Spaces are available for $15 each. Crafters and new-merchandise vendors are welcome. No garage-sale vendors, please.
