TECHNOLOGY
   Sarnoff Imaging Systems announced the appointment of Michael T. Melle to the position of director of new business development for its commercial sector. Prior to Sarnoff, Mr. Melle managed the North American sales operations for Basler AG, a manufacturer of vision systems and components.
   Sarnoff Imaging Systems, the strategic business unit of Sarnoff Corp., is focused on developing cutting-edge imaging products and technology to meet the needs of the aerospace, defense, semiconductor, and analytical, biomedical and scientific instrumentation communities.
HEALTH & MEDICINE
   Dr. Michael P. Fogarty has joined the dental practice of Dr. J. Craig Tyl. In the Princeton area for 24 years, Dr. J. Craig Tyl, DMD is located at 601 Ewing St., Suite B-15, Princeton.

   The Alzheimer Association of New Jersey has invited Jeff Apter of Princeton to sit on their scientific advisory board. Dr. Apter, a senior attending physician at University Medical Center at Princeton, has authored numerous papers on Alzheimer’s disease. He has also participated in numerous trials of new medications for patients with Alzheimer’s. In addition, he is the medical director of Princeton Medical Institute, a medication research center that is currently conducting new generation medication studies for the disease.
NONPROFIT
   The Trenton-based Child Care Connection Board of Trustees has the following new members: Clayton Chandler of West Windsor, a senior manger in investment management services for Deloitte & Touche; Shannon Hartley, a resident of Princeton and partner in health care strategies for the Rosetta marketing firm; Calvin Thomas, a Trenton resident and director of the Support Center for Nonprofit Management in New Jersey; Nashon Hornsby, a health law specialist with the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services; and Rose Nevruz, retired director of the Princeton YWCA’s after-school program. Both Mr. Hornsby and Ms. Nevruz are Lawrenceville residents.

   Mary Sue Henifin, shareholder with the Princeton law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, was recently elected to the board of the Princeton Area Community Foundation. Ms. Henifin was recently named by Gov. Corzine to the board of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and is awaiting senate confirmation.

   Parker McCay shareholder Nola R. Bencze was recently elected to the board of directors of the New Jersey chapter of the Turnaround Management Association. She will also serve as co-chair of the chapter’s public relations committee. The TMA is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to corporate renewal and turnaround management. Ms. Bencze, a Titusville resident, is chair of Parker McCay’s financial services practice group. Parker McCay is headquartered in Marlton with offices in Lawrenceville and West Atlantic City.
OUTSOURCE
   Paul W. Orvis IV, a teleservices-industry executive, has joined The AnswerNet Network in Princeton as business development executive, indirect channel. In the industry since 1993, he was recently vice president, sales and marketing of a Norwalk, Conn.-based telemessaging and contact center firm.
REAL ESTATE
   Barney Barnhart and Russell Marks have been elected to the board of directors for the Princeton Windrows Condominium Association. Mr. Barnhart is a new trustee of the board and Mr. Marks has been selected as the association’s new treasurer, formerly held by Barnhart. A graduate chemical engineer from Princeton University, Mr. Barnhart is retired as a senior vice president of corporate finance. Mr. Marks, a graduate of Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School, was president of Phelps Dodge International Corp. in Miami.
MARKETING
   Samantha Peitler has joined Lambertville-based Oxford Communications as account executive. She comes to Oxford from New York City where she assisted in casting and producing photo shoots. A Trenton resident, Ms. Peitler is a graduate of The College of New Jersey.
   Also hired as account executives are Jennifer Zandier and Alexis Anderson. Ms. Anderson assists in day-to-day advertising and marketing efforts for a large retail developer and owner of 37 mall and outlet destinations. A Massachusetts native, she lives in New Hope with her fiancée. Ms. Zandier joins as a member of Oxford’s account services department. She lives in Horsham, Pa., with her husband, Craig.
LAW
   Law firm Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer P.A. has announced that Yvonne Marcuse, formerly a senior associate of the firm, has been named counsel. A member of the firm’s redevelopment team, Ms. Marcuse also works closely with the firm’s land use team. A resident of Princeton, she is a special editor of "New Jersey Lawyer Magazine." She is also a physical anthropologist and the author of several scientific articles. Woodbridge-based Wilentz, Goldman & Spitzer has offices in Eatontown, New York City, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

   Robyn D. Froio has joined Saul Ewing LLP as an associate in the litigation department, resident in the firm’s Plainsboro office. Previously an associate with McCarter & English, she represents companies and individual investors in various business disputes, including litigation arising from the sale of a company and commercial real estate transactions.

   Robert E. Lytle was recently made a partner at Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein, Blader & Lehmann PC, a statewide law firm based in Lawrenceville. Mr. Lytle is a trial attorney who practices in the areas of commercial, environmental, criminal and municipal law. Prior to joining Szaferman Lakind, Mr. Lytle was an assistant prosecutor in the Special Investigations Unit of the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office. Mr. Lytle resides in Pennington with his wife Molly and three children.

   Reed Smith LLP recently announced the addition of Theodore D. Aden as a partner in its financial services litigation group in the firm’s Plainsboro office. Mr. Aden was previously a partner in the national litigation practice at Epstein Becker & Green in Newark.

   Albert M. Stark, shareholder and member of Stark & Stark’s personal injury group, has been recognized in "Who’s Who in American Law." A member of the firm since 1964, he concentrates his practice on the seriously injured. Mr. Stark has served as counsel to former governor Richard J. Hughes and former Trenton mayor Arthur Holland, and was an assistant prosecutor in Mercer County. Mr. Stark resides in Princeton with his wife Ellen.
