April 9 at 12:30 p.m. Eagle Fire Company responded with an engine and tanker to assist Point Pleasant Fire Company with a barn fire on Stump Road in Plumstead Township; 21 personnel were in service for 3.5 hours.
April 11 at 1:05 p.m. Reported brush fire on School Lane in Solebury Township, The fire was found to be a controlled fire. One engine and field truck responded with 19 personnel on duty for 45 minutes.
April 11 at 3:37 p.m. Reported brush fire at Phillips Mill Road and School Lane. One engine and field truck responded; 16 personnel were on duty for 45 minutes.
April 11 at 3 p.m. Three personnel were on duty with one engine at St. Martin Church in New Hope, talking and reading with children on fire safety at its after-school program. Fire personnel were called away for a fire call. The Eagle hopes to continue this program during the year.
April 12 at 8:35 a.m. Fire alarm on Atkinson Road in Solebury Township. One engine responded; 14 personnel were on duty for 45 minutes.
April 14 at 8 a.m. Eagle Fire Company members underwent a 6.5-hour training exercise on building collapse and a confined space rescue along with testing three different types of new self-contained breathing equipment, which the fire company will be replacing by the end of July. That will bring the company into compliance with the new federal regulations for fire departments and will be protecting the firefighters for the next 15 year. There were 22 personnel on duty during this time.
April 15 at 9:18 a.m. Fire alarm on Phillips Mill Road in Solebury Township. Everything was OK. There were 20 personnel on duty for 45 minutes with one engine.
