William M. Morrison Jr.

Mr. Morrison, 68, of Freehold, died April 25, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Atlantic City, he had resided in Freehold for most of his life. He worked as a data processing security officer for the Elastic Stop Nut Corp. in Union. While semiretired, he was a self-employed lawn-equipment repairman and a Freehold Borough crossing guard. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. He was a member of Elks Lodge No. 1454, Freehold, as well as co-chairman of the Freehold Borough Shade Tree Commission. Mr. Morrison is survived by his wife, Joann; three sons, William M. Morrison, Milton Morrison and Mark Morrison; a daughter, Yosena; a brother, Joseph Morrison; and two sisters, Dorothy Grant and Nancy Thompson. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Church, followed by interment at Forest Green Cemetery, Marlboro. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Samuel Rubin

Mr. Rubin, 88, of Manalapan, died April 24, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had lived there before moving to the Covered Bridge Community of Manalapan 22 years ago. He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving from 1942 to 1945 as a staff sergeant. He was a salesman and expert in the leather industry for more than 47 years, retiring in 1992. Mr. Rubin was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of Covered Bridge; president of Condominium High Holyday Services Inc. of Covered Bridge; and a charter member of the Knights of Pythias Cross Bay, Utopia Lodge No. 400, Brooklyn. He is survived by his wife, the former Sylvia Dashew; a son, Joel Rubin of Marlboro; a daughter, Anne Jaster of Crystal Lake, Ill.; and five grandchildren. Services were by Bloomfield-Cooper Jewish Chapels, Manalapan. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish National Funds.

Alison H. Parinello Maggio

Mrs. Maggio, 33, of Jackson, died April 24, 2007, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Edison, she had lived in Sayreville and Howell before moving to Jackson in 1996. She was a graduate of Freehold Township High School and had attended Brookdale Community College, Lincroft. Mrs. Maggio was a past president of the Moms Club, Jackson. She was a former dance instructor throughout the area. Ms. Maggio worked in the collections department for Cavanaugh’s Pest Control, Freehold, for 10 years. Most recently, she had worked for Accumed Laboratories, South Amboy. Surviving are a son, Joseph David, at home; her mother, Sharon Parinello of Freehold; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Andrea Parinello of Jackson, and Daniel and Renee Parinello of Toms River; her maternal grandmother, Helen Albrizio of Freehold; her paternal grandfather, Anthony Parinello of San Diego; a nephew; and four nieces. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Monmouth Memorial Park, Tinton Falls. Elizabeth O. Conover

Mrs. Conover, 83, of Freehold, died April 21, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. She was born in Freehold and had resided there all her life. Prior to retiring, she was a switchboard operator for the Monmouth County Courthouse, Freehold. She was a lifelong communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, R. Kenneth Conover; a son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Karen Conover of Lumberton; and three grandchildren. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Rose of Lima Church. Interment was private. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements. Evelyne Mae Moser

Ms. Moser, 91, of Freehold Township, died April 20, 2007, at Monmouth County Care Centers, John L. Montgomery Division. Born in Elizabeth, she had lived in Roselle before returning to Elizabeth. She settled in Freehold Township in 1990. Ms. Moser was a homemaker. She was predeceased by a brother, John F. Moser Jr., and is survived by a sister, Catherine A. Bowden, along with many cousins. A funeral service was held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, followed by interment at Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth.

Angelo Paul DiFalco

Mr. DiFalco, 98, of the Greenbriar section of Marlboro, died April 19, 2007, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Born in New York City, he had lived in Hopewell Junction before moving to Marlboro 18 years ago. He was a district manager for Hiram Walker, Long Island, N.Y., and later became traffic safety commissioner for the state of New York, where he worked from 1973 to 1993. He was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro, and an active member of Greenbriar’s bocce team. Mr. DiFalco is survived by his wife of 68 years, Alba Fiore; a daughter and son-in-law, Valerie and Rudy Albrecht of Key Largo, Fla.; a sister, Margarita Abruzzo of Santa Barbara, Calif.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Historic Church, followed by interment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, both of Marlboro. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
