HILLSBOROUGH Robert A. Biggs died May 10 in Foothill Acres Rehabilitation Center in Hillsborough. He was 81.
Born in Hawthorne, he had lived in Hillsborough since 1939.
Mr. Biggs worked as an engineer for New Jersey Bell for 38 years, retiring in 1985.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a member of the Pioneer Club of New Jersey Bell.
Surviving are a son, David Lambert of Hillsborough; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held May 12 from Cusick Funeral Home in Somerville. Burial was in Neshanic Cemetery.
