Carol Brown, 59, of Monroe, died Tuesday, May 8, at her home.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., she lived in Manchester Township for many years before moving to Greenbriar at Whittingham two years ago.
She was a very active supporter of disabled and hospitalized veterans.
Her husband, James, died in 2004. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Joseph Craparotta of Jamesburg; and her granddaughter Adrianne.
Services were held Tuesday, May 15, at the Lester Memorial Home, 16 West Church St., Jamesburg. Burial was in the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle N.J. Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Help Hospitalized Veterans, 36585 Penfield Lane, Winchester, Calif. 92596.
