Elm Court’s new addition named for Harriet Bryan

More than 10 years after Princeton Community Housing first began thinking about an addition to Elm Court, its affordable senior housing facility on Elm Road in Princeton Borough, this dream has become a reality.
Harriet Bryan House, with 67 apartments, became the newest addition to PCH’s housing program with the official ribbon-cutting last month.
The building is named in honor of Harriet Bryan, a longtime trustee and past-president of PCH which, with over 460 units of affordable housing in Princeton, is the largest provider of such dwellings in Princeton.
Princeton Borough Mayor Mildred Trotman read a proclamation establishing the ribbon-cutting day, May 6, as Harriet Bryan Day in recognition of Ms. Bryan’s long-term commitment to PCH’s mission to "provide, manage and advocate for affordable housing."
Among the more than 100 people in attendance were founding trustees John Borden, James Floyd and Ted Vial along with current PCH Board President Sheila Berkelhammer, PCH Executive Director Sandra Persichetti and Development Chairwoman Betty Wolfe.
