The Princeton Public Library is still accepting submissions for its Student Film and Video Festival July 18 and 19.
Students are encouraged to submit original films, with running times of 20 minutes or less, by June 15.
Nearly 50 entries have already been received for the fourth annual festival, which will take place in two two-hour events.
Filmmakers will be invited to introduce and talk about their works during the festival, which is intended for teen and adult audiences.
Teen Services Librarian Susan Conlon, who coordinates the festival, said previous years’ films have included documentaries, comedies, dramas and animated and experimental works.
Guidelines and entry forms are available at www.princetonlibrary.org/teens/media/index.html.
The films must be on a clearly labeled, half-inch VHS or DVD, accompanied by a completed entry form. Students are allowed to enter more than one project, but each entry must have its own form and appear on a separate VHS or DVD.For more information call (609) 924-9529, ext. 247.
