Eagle Fire Company report-June 7, 2007

   May 28 at 10:51 a.m. — Fire alarm, Greenwich Court in Solebury; one engine responded; 17 personnel in service for 30 minutes.
   May 28 at 1:13 p.m. — Alarm system, Riverwoods Drive, New Hope; one engine responded; 16 personnel on duty for 45 minutes.
   May 29 at 10:56 a.m. — Reported vehicle fire at Kitchen Lane and Creekside Drive, Solebury; two engines responded, but were recalled by fire officers on location; 18 personnel on duty for 30 minutes.
   June 1 — During the storm, the department responded to four calls within a short period of time — 7:40 p.m., an Alarm system at 350 S. Main St., set off by the storm; 8:01 p.m., reported wires burning on Route 32, north of Phillips Mill Road, Solebury; 8:08 p.m., reported wires down and burning on Old Mill Lane, Solebury Township with four firefighters on location for two hours until Philadelphia Electric Company could turn off the power for the area; and 8:11 p.m., reported house struck by lighting on South Sugan Road, New Hope, house checked, nothing found but a tree struck near home. One firefighter was injured in a fall at the scene and was treated for a head injury; 23 personnel on duty for three hours covering these calls.
   June 2 at 10:29 a.m. — Fire alarm on River Road, north of Route 263, Solebury; one engine on standby until alarm cleared by chief officer; 11 fire personnel on duty for 30 minutes.
   June 2 at 1:55 p.m. — Reported tree on fire on South Sugan Road, New Hope; wire found smoking in tree; electric company contacted; one engine in service for 30 minutes with 12 personnel on duty.
   June 3 at 5:50 p.m. — Reported house fire on New Street, New Hope; fire reported in hot water heater; out on arrival; two engines with 16 personnel on duty for 30 minutes.
