Frank V. Dooley, 81, died on Monday, June 4, at his home in Rossmoor.
Born in Dunellen, he grew up in Roselle and moved to Colts Neck in 1967 where he lived for 20 years. He moved to Rossmoor in 1987.
Since 1991, Frank and his wife, Marie A. spent six months a year at their residence in Jupiter, Fla. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was employed by Carter Wallace Co. in Cranbury for 35 years before retiring in 1990 as the vice president of Industrial Relations.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marie A. Moran; his daughters, Eileen D. Donahue and her husband, Michael, of Lafayette, Ind., and Cathleen M. Dooley of Alexandria, Va.; his son, Michael J. and his wife, Heather H., of Sunnyvale, Calif.; three grandsons, Stuart M. Dooley and Patrick R. and Brian C. Donahue; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Liturgy was held Thursday, June 7, at Nativity of Our Lord R.C. Church, Monroe Township. Interment followed at Holy Cross Burial Park, South Brunswick. Visitation was private. Arrangements were by the M. David DeMarco Funeral Home, 205 Rhode Hall Road, Monroe Township, N.J. 08831.
