EAST WINDSOR Eugene R. Voegtlin died June 9 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in New Orleans, La., he resided in East Windsor for 44 years.
Mr. Voegtlin was employed at Johnson & Johnson for 33 years before his retirement in 1993.
He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army from 1957-1959.
He was a communicant of St. Anthony of Padua RC Church and its Knights of Columbus Council No. 6284.
He is survived by his wife, Frances (White) Voegtlin; one daughter, Norma F. Schultz of Hillsborough; a son, Gene R. of Fairfax Station, Va.; a brother, Robert J. of Arlington Heights, Ill.; a niece and nephew; six grandchildren; and a grandniece.
A funeral service was held June 13 from A.S. Cole Funeral Home in Cranbury, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in Hightstown. Burial followed in Brainerd Cemetery in Cranbury.
