George R. Lovas Jr.

   MANVILLE — George R. Lovas Jr. died June 8 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. He was 37.
   He was born in Perth Amboy and was a resident of Manville for the past 12 years, formerly living in Woodbridge Township.
   Mr. Lovas was a foreman for the Somerset County Road and Bridge Department for the past 19 years.
   Survivors are his wife, Tricia Lovas of Manville; two daughters, McKayla and Marlena Lovas of Manville; his mother, Carol Beavers and stepfather, Ralph Beavers; his father, George Lovas Sr. and stepmother, Kathy Lovas of Carteret; and one half-sister, Kim Lovas of Carteret.
   A funeral service was conducted June 13 by The Rev. Daniel Sloan of Christ the King Church in Manville. Burial followed at St. Bernard Cemetery in Raritan.
