BORDENTOWN CITY
On June 7 at 4:21 p.m., police investigated a report of a bicycle stolen from an alleyway.
Police said the bike was described as a red and black Diamondback, 27-speed mountain bike, with front shocks and two wheel disk brakes, valued at $500. Police also said another black bike was left in place of the stolen bike.
Police said an officer recalled seeing a man riding the black bike that had been left behind. Police said the person was seen in the NJ Transit River Line area but the person and the bike had not been located as of Tuesday.
Police were called to Boyd’s Pharmacy on Farnsworth Avenue for a reported shoplifting on June 4 at 3:20 p.m.
Police said employees saw a man wearing a green striped shirt take a bottle of liquor, valued at $36, put it in a black book bag, and then leave the store. Police said one employee ran out the store and called to the man who was walking away with a woman wearing a purple shirt and dark scarf around her head. The man and woman ran off in different directions, police.
At 4:19 p.m., police located a woman fitting the description at the River Line station. According to police, the woman, Veronica Harrington, 39, of Trenton, stated she had nothing to do with the shoplifting and that she did not know the man who took the liquor. She told police she ran because of warrants for her arrest.
Police confirmed the warrant out of Plainsboro for $1,749. Police also discovered Ms. Harrington to be in possession of a 3-inch glass pipe with burnt residue of suspected cocaine.
Ms. Harrington was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and then turned over to Plainsboro Police Department.
The man seen leaving the liquor store was not immediately located, police said Tuesday.
FLORENCE
On June 7 at 9 a.m., David Harris, 23, of Blackwood, was charged with driving while intoxicated, careless driving, and driving with a revoked license.
Police said they received calls about a person driving carelessly on Front Street heading toward Broad Street. Police were given a description of the vehicle and they located it on West Third Street near Spring Street with Mr. Harris, the driver, inside.
Mr. Harris was charged and released, pending a court date.
On June 6 at 1:58 a.m., Michael D. Trainor, 32, of Levittown, Pa., was charged with failure to maintain lamps and driving while suspended.
Police said they stopped a green Hyundai on Route 130 near the Northview Motel. During the investigation, police discovered the driver, Mr. Trainor, had a suspended driver’s license from Pennsylvania. Police also found that Mr. Trainor had two outstanding warrants, one out of Trenton and the other out of Hamilton Township.
Mr. Trainor was taken into custody and processed at police headquarters. He was unable to post $1,251 bail and turned over to Trenton police.
On June 5 at 11:58 p.m., Rebecca L. Jackson, 21, was found to have an outstanding warrant for forgery from Bordentown City Police Department.
Police said they stopped a 2007 Honda Civic for a violation in the Seventh Avenue and Riverside Avenue area and discovered Ms. Jackson had a $1,500 warrant.
Ms. Jackson was taken into custody and transported to Bordentown City Police Department.
On June 5 at 11:04 p.m., two guitars and a dual guitar case were reported stolen.
A Florence resident stopped a patrol car on Norman Avenue and stated he removed a guitar case containing two guitars from his vehicle and placed it onto the sidewalk of Norman Avenue. He told police he left the area forgetting the guitars were on the sidewalk. He said he returned 10 minutes later to get them and they were gone.

MANSFIELD
On June 8 at 5:29 p.m., Mansfield police were called to Route 130 for a motor vehicle crash involving a pedestrian.
At the scene, police found the pedestrian, David Escobar, 40, of Florence, lying on the ground and complaining of leg and hip pain. Police said the driver had reportedly fled the scene in a red van.
During the on-scene investigation, police were informed that the driver and vehicle involved in the crash were in Florence. Police responded to the Nirdip Motel on Route 130 in Florence where the driver and vehicle were located.
Police determined the driver, Douglas S. VanSciver, 43, of Bordentown, to be intoxicated and he was taken into custody.
The injured pedestrian, Mr. Escobar, was transported to Virtua Hospital in Mount Holly, where he was treated for head injury, a bruised hip and a fractured ankle.
Mr. VanSciver was charged with reckless driving, leaving the scene of a crash, failure to report a crash, driving while intoxicated, and for being an unlicensed driver.
On June 12 at 7:38 a.m., Timothy J. Kapp, 49, of Columbus, was given a careless driving summons for causing a three-car crash on Columbus Road, police said.
Police said Mr. Kapp’s car struck the rear of a van, driven by Timothy S. Basset, 50, of Columbus, as it was stopped in traffic on Columbus Road. Police said the impact pushed Mr. Basset’s van into oncoming westbound traffic.
Police said a third vehicle traveling west on Columbus Road, driven by Jonathan L. Williams, 36, of Trenton, was then struck on the driver’s side by Mr. Basset’s van.
Mr. Basset was transported to Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly for possible broken ribs. No other injuries were reported by police.
