Chaired by State Senator Peter Inverso (R-Hamilton) and hosted in the National Guard Hangar at Trenton-Mercer Airport by Major General Glenn Rieth, New Jersey Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, the event also honored prominent community leaders for their example to young men and their support for Scouting.
The honorees were Herb Greenberg, president & CEO, Caliper; Steven K. Jones, interim president & CEO, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital; James B. Kilgore, president and publisher, Packet Publications, and Chris Smith, U.S. Representative from New Jersey’s 4th District.
In addition, the Most Reverend John M. Smith, bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Trenton, received the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award, which recognizes Eagle Scouts who have distinguished themselves in their life work.
