Calling all runners and walkers: The third annual ETS Firecracker 5K run, which benefits the YWCA Princeton, will take place Tuesday, June 26, and is sure to be a festive, fun-filled evening.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m. and will be held rain or shine. Participants can register between 6 and 7:15 p.m. at Conant Hall, located on the Educational Testing Service (ETS) campus, Rosedale and Carter roads, Princeton.
Participants will receive T-shirts while supplies last. Music, refreshments and family activities will also be offered. Prizes will be awarded for run winners in age categories and group teams.
If you don’t want to walk or run, there are other ways to help out. You can donate money, giveaways or door prizes, such as gift certificates, water bottles, food and beverages. Or you can volunteer to help stuff giveaway bags, staff the water stops and food tables, provide parking and traffic control and post signs during the race.
Race registration cost $25. For information, call (609) 497-2100, ext. 322. Event proceeds will benefit the YWCA Princeton’s programs, which improve the lives of area residents.
