Gerard Diblin
ALLENTOWN Gerard Diblin, 51, died June 15 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick.
Born in Trenton, he was an area resident for most of his life and was a graduate of Allentown High School. Mr. Diblin was employed by the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local No. 9, Englishtown, as a pipefitter and he recently was certified for medical gas and brazing.
He was a lifetime member of the Hog Association and he was also a talented artist. Mr. Diblin was a very loving and caring individual who reached out to many people in need throughout his lifetime.
Son of the late George and Margaret Diblin, he was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Fredric and James A. Diblin. He is survived by his fiancee Barbara Falconio of Allentown; his siblings, Kathleen Brentari of Monroeville, Denise and her husband Wayne Brass of New Egypt, Dorothy and her husband William Mathison of Cream Ridge, Regina and her husband Roger Havens of New Egypt, Kenneth and his wife Gerry Diblin of Kernersville, N.C. and Mary Romanek of Weatherly, Pa.; his stepchildren, John and Cathy Falconio of Allentown, Renee Falconio and her fiance Duff Sorensen of Millstone and Lisa Falconio and her fiance Joseph Irving of Millstone; his stepgrandson, John Frank Falconio of Allentown; his future mother-in-law, Ms. Eva Riephoff of Allentown; many nieces and nephews; as well as his faithful companions, Winston and Li’l Dawg.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Peppler Funeral Home in Allentown.

Theresa Hewins
HIGHTSTOWN Theresa E. Hewins (Eufemia), 91, died June 15 at the Medical Center at Princeton after a brief illness.
Born in New York City, she was a lifelong resident of Hightstown. She had been a homemaker for most of her life. She was a member of St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church.
Daughter of the late Frank and Mary Eufemia and wife of the late Frederick Hewins, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Marianne and Al Heyesey of Allentown and Jacqueline and Brad Preston of Clarksburg; her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Frank and Cathy Hewins of Olympia, Wash.; six grandchildren, Leslie Preston MacFarlane and her husband, Michael of Clarksburg, Matthew Preston of Point Pleasant, Kelly Heyesey and Brian Heyesey of Allentown, Megan Hewins of Issaquah, Wash. and Lisa MacAuley of Seattle, Wash.; a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Jo Eufemia of Spring Hill, Fla.; and also many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the Glackin/Saul Funeral Home in Hightstown.

Britt Guzik
GRIGGSTOWN Britt Guzik, 63, died June 14 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick of heart failure.
Born in Varnamo, Sweden, she was a resident of Griggstown for 37 years. Britt was a dedicated member of various Swedish organizations including the Swedish churches of Philadelphia and New York, the New Jersey chapter of SWEA and the American Swedish Historical Museum. She received a liver transplant seven years ago and often talked about how important organ donation was to her and others who had been fortunate to receive an organ transplant.
Daughter of Anna and Oscar Johansson, she is survived by her husband, Mike Guzik; their son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Alexandra M. Guzik; granddaughter Sophia M. Guzik of Robbinsville; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Tamara and John Bliss of Newton, Mass.; nephew Steven Bliss of Los Angeles; niece Mimi Bliss of Nashville; and niece Lisette Karlsson of Gothenburg Sweden.
No funeral or memorial service will be held per Ms. Guzik wishes.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home in Princeton.

Kurt Breitmayer
CLARKSBURG Kurt K. Breitmayer, 66, died June 13 at CentraState Medical Center in Freehold.
Born in Tubingen, Germany, Mr. Breitmayer emigrated to the United States in 1975 and settled in Clarksburg. He was employed for 27 years as a machinist and machine builder for Action Packaging in Roosevelt, retiring in 2004.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Clauer Breitmayer; two stepsons, Harold and his wife Julie of Hightstown and Raimund and his wife Elizabeth of Barnegat; a sister, Elfriede Rode of Tubingen, Germany; six step-grandchildren, Donna, Christine, Michael, Melissa, Andrew and Monica; and five step-great-grandchildren, Brandon, Sarah, Emma, Evan and Logan.
A memorial service was held at the Lester Memorial Home in Jamesburg.

Rose M. Krisanda Eganey
HAMILTON TOWNSHIP Rose M. Krisanda Eganey, 81, died June 10 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.
Born in Trenton, Ms. Eganey was a lifelong Trenton and Hamilton Township resident. She was previously employed by the CYBIS Porcelain Company in Trenton. She enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her children.
Daughter of the late Andrew and Sophie Rodecsky Krisanda, and wife of the late James A. Eganey, Rose was predeceased by her seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Glenn Eganey of Hamilton Township and her twin son and daughter David Eganey of New York City and Sharon M. DeLay of Bordentown Township; her grandson and his fiancé, Brian J. Delay and Allison Scamardella of Robbinsville; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Winowicz Funeral Home in Trenton.

Joseph Cipriani
PRINCETON Joseph P. Cipriani, 81, died June 10 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
Born in Burlington and raised in Groveville, he resided in Lawrenceville, then moved to Robbinsville, where he resided for 37 years. For the last three years he resided in Princeton Township. He was a graduate of Hamilton High School and attended electrical training in Flagstaff, Ariz.
Mr. Cipriani was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, where he worked on a carrier ship as a pilot and an airplane mechanic/electrician. He was formerly employed by RCA Sarnoff, Princeton, and Mercer County Community College from 1969 to 1989, as an electrician.
He was a member of the Italian American Sportsman Club, Hamilton, a member and past president of Mercer Community College Union/AFCME for eight years, and was an avid hunter. He enjoyed his favorite football team, the Philadelphia Eagles, playing the slots in Atlantic City, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Son of the late Paul and Olga Soppranzi Cipriani, and father of the late Dianna Cipriani; he is survived by his wife, Virginia Petroni Cipriani; a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Anthony La Placa Jr. of Princeton; his sister, Margaret DiStefano of Morrisville, Pa.; three grandchildren, Andrew Joseph Grunther, Leo Anthony La Placa and Pia Dianna La Placa, all of Princeton; a brother-in-law, Frank Petroni and his wife, Rita of Melbourne, Fla.; two sisters-in-law, Geraldine Petroni of Trenton, and Rose Petroni of Hamilton; special friends Jay and George Bonfrancesco of Robbinsville and Joyce Brindisi of Hamilton; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The funeral was held at the Brenna Funeral Home in Trenton.

Marcia A. Savko
TRENTON Marcia A. Savko, 71, of the Villa Park section of Trenton, died recently at her home.
Born in Trenton, she was a lifelong area resident. Ms. Savko was a graduate of Trenton State Teachers College in 1957. She was a former member of St. Mary’s of the Assumption Byzantine Catholic Church and former member of the Sodality. She was a former member of the NJEA, College of New Jersey Teachers Association, and The Trenton College Club. Ms. Savko was formerly employed as a teacher at the Parker Elementary School in Trenton.
She was the daughter of the late John Savko and Ethel Engel Savko. Ms. Savko is survived by her first cousins, Beatrice Taylor Doser of Michigan, MaryAnne Taylor of Colorado, Edward Savko of Florida, Thomas Savko and Dorothy Savko Brown of Trenton, Elizabeth Parknavy James of Arizona, Mildred Parknay Seeber of Colorado, Betty Anne Rapine Pratt of Washington, Karen Kasper Baczewski of Robbinsville, Charles Szekely of Florida, Barbara Szekely of California, and Robert A. Engel and William R. Engel; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home in South Trenton.
