Ida H. McBride, 101, of Rossmoor, died Tuesday, June 12, at her home.
Born in Bronx, NY, she was formerly of Matawan and Cranbury. She was a resident of Rossmoor since 1976.
She was a lifetime member of the Women’s Club of Cranbury and a member of the Historical and Preservation Society of Cranbury. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury since 1938.
She was in charge of glass cabinets in Narthex for 50 years. She was a volunteer with the Red Cross during World War II.
Her husband, J. Wilson McBride, is deceased. She is survived by her goddaughter, Barbara Croce of Florida; and her nephew, Peter Barrett of Chicago.
Graveside Services were held Monday, June18, at Old Tennent Cemetery, Tennent. A Memorial Service followed at the First Presbyterian Church of Cranbury, 22 South Main St., Cranbury.
