Seize personal belongings from East Windsor job site

Law enforcement authorities have executed a search warrant at the East Windsor workplace of Rosario "Roy" Digirolamo, the married Millstone man who police want to talk to about the abandonment of his baby and the disappearance of his girlfriend and the baby’s mother, Amy Giordano of Hightstown.
"Authorities executed a search warrant at ConAir on Friday evening and took custody of Rosario Digirolamo’s personal belongings," Casey DeBlasio of the Mercer County prosecutor’s office said Monday afternoon.
A baby eventually identified as 11-month-old Michael Digirolamo was discovered outside a hospital in Newark, Del. on June 9. That was three days after Ms. Giordano, a single mother who lived on Mercer Street, was last seen locally. Mr. Digirolamo, a computer analyst who has lived in Millstone with his wife since 1999, was last seen at ConAir on June 11.
ConAir Vice President John Mayorek previously said the company was cooperating with Hightstown police and Delaware State Police, including providing e-mails from the employee’s laptop computer and records of his incoming and outgoing phone calls.
Borough Detective Ben Miller has said his department is investigating purely as a missing persons case and that there is no evidence of a crime. But Ms. Giordano’s apartment was sealed off Thursday in case law enforcement authorities need to investigate further.
The Mercer County prosecutor’s office, which took over this week as the media contact for the case, said the decision to seal the apartment was a joint one it made with local police.
Judging by the tape on the front door of the apartment, no search warrant has been executed there.
The apartment remains filled with the baby’s belongings. Landlord Mike Vanderbeck also discovered a purse in the apartment that contained credit cards of Ms. Giordano and Mr. Digirolamo, Social Security cards of the mother and son, and identification cards of Ms. Giordano. It also contained a Mercer County voter registration application signed by Ms. Giordano and dated June 5.
