STOCKTON Marie Stymiest Pennett, 90, died Wednesday, June 20, at Hunterdon Care Center in Raritan Township.
She was a lifelong resident of Stockton.
Mrs. Pennett was an active member of the Wesleyan Baptist Church in Stockton, its choir and had served on various church committees over the years. She was a member of the Stockton Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and for many years served on Stockton’s Board of Elections.
She was the daughter of the late George and Ellen Mason Stymiest, widow of Donald J. Pennett Sr. and was predeceased by 14 brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one son, Donald J. Pennett Jr.; two grandchildren, Dana Oneil and her husband, George, and Donald J. Pennett III and his wife, Patricia; four great-grandchildren, Tyler and Kelly Pennett and Madigan and Kieran Oneil, all of Yardley, Pa.; a daughter-in-law, Graceann Welsh; a brother-in-law, Michael Pennett; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Monday at the church. Burial followed in Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Delaware Township.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Garefino Funeral Home, Lambertville.

STOCKTON Catherine E. Pennett, 88, of Stockton died Wednesday, June 20, at home.
Born in Stockton, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Edith Bonham Errico and was a lifelong resident.
At one time, she was employed by General Motors of Trenton, then was a sales representative for Great American Tea Company, then worked at a gift shop in New Hope, Pa.
She was the widow of Frank Pennett, who died in 1994, and sister of the late Evelyn Errico, who died in 2000.
Funeral arrangements and burial in Rosemont Cemetery were private and under the direction of the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, Flemington.

LELAND, N.C. Victor T. Sabatino, 87, died Friday, June 21, at Autumn Care of Myrtle Grove in Wilmington, N.C.
Born in Trenton, Mr. Sabatino lived all of his life in Trenton and Ewing Township before moving with his daughter to Leland in August 2006.
He was an Army veteran who served during World War II as a staff sergeant with the 708th Ordnance and Infantry Company. He was awarded four Bronze Stars for combat action in Rhineland, Central Europe, Normandy and the Northern France campaigns and became a disabled veteran.
He retired in 1979 after 35 years with the New Jersey Department of Treasury where he was supervisor of surplus property.
He also was a statewide auctioneer.
He was a member and past president (1981-82) of the State Society of Auctioneers, a member and past commander of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 12 and a member of the American Legion, North Trenton Post 458.
He was a 1971 graduate of Rider College, receiving his bachelor of science degree in business administration.
He was the son of the late Frank and Filomena Giambattista DiSabatino, widower of Estelle Kandebo Sabatino, his wife of 54 years, and brother of the late Pete Sabatino, Nicholas Sabatino, Julia Schiaretti, Alice Sabatino, Joseph Sabatino and Carrie DiMartino.
Surviving are his daughter, Sheryl M. Kieper of Lambertville; his brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Rose Sabatino of Hamilton Township; a brother-in-law, Dewey DiMartino of Hamilton Township; two sisters-in-law, Jane Sabatino of Hamilton Township and Rita Sabatino of Binghamton, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held Wednesday from the Winowicz Funeral Chapel. A funeral liturgy was held at St. Hedwig’s Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. American Legion services were conducted Tuesday.
