Evelyn F. Christ Musto, 82, died Thursday, June 21, at The Gardens at Monroe.
Born in Staten Island, N.Y., she lived in Milltown before moving to Monroe 10 years ago.
She was a secretary for Judge Aldonna Appleton in New Brunswick for 10 years before retiring in 1972. Prior to that she had worked as a secretary at the Boy Scouts of America National Headquarters in North Brunswick for 15 years.
She was a communicant of St. Mary of Mount Virgin R.C. Church in New Brunswick. She was an avid Rutgers sports fan and was past president of the Rutgers "FAN-EES."
She is survived by her husband, John L. Musto; her daughter, Carolyn Louise Rospopa of Monroe; her beloved grandson, Christian Rospopa of East Brunswick; two nieces, Diane Saitta of North Brunswick and Eleanor Zukosky and her husband, Leon, of Vero Beach, Fla.; and several great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, June 26, at St. Mary of Mount Virgin Church in New Brunswick. Private cremation followed. Arrangements were made through Selover Funeral Home, 555 Georges Road, North Brunswick.
